Poolside cabanas, golf carts, beach chairs, and umbrellas are available to rent via Guest Services. Enjoy a designated area at the beach with air-conditioned bathrooms and food services. The resort golf course utilizes the coastal terrain to create an authentic links-style game. The variety of tee boxes fits any player's current game. Play outdoor games in the courtyard as burgers sizzle on the gas grill. There are two balconies, each furnished with tall Adirondack chairs.

Upscale furnishings and vibrant decor offer you a spacious and inviting retreat. The sunny main living area has a sofa, an oversized chair for two, and a plush rocking chair. Kick back and watch the 65" TV. The second living area offers space to play and relax. Watch movies on the 48" TV or set up a board game around the table. The spiral staircase leads to a secret sunroom. You'll also find a wet bar with a mini-fridge and bunk beds. The second-floor landing offers a sofa, a library, and a bunk bed.

The kitchen boasts retro-chic appliances and spacious quartz countertops. Serve morning coffee at the island bar.

The main suite features a 40" TV and a private balcony. Highlights of the en-suite bathroom include a double vanity, a large walk-in shower, and a spacious walk-in closet. Two guest bedrooms also have en suite bathrooms, and one has a TV.

Amenities include complimentary WiFi and a washer/dryer.

Major construction is occurring on new homes in the area. No current homes or amenities will be affected, though construction equipment may be visible, and views may be obstructed in some areas. Construction has been scheduled during certain times of the day to minimize noise and potential disturbances to guests. The work is scheduled to conclude in the next year.

We had such a relaxing and memorable stay at this beach house! The home was cozy, clean, and had everything our family needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to comfy beds. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short drive with the golf cart to the shore. We spent every evening on the porch enjoying the breeze. It was the perfect home base for a beach vacation. We’ll definitely be back!

This house is perfect! It is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. And the kitchen is well stocked. The location is perfect for a short walk to the beach and not far from a pool. Can't imagine a better place to stay for a trip to the beach.

Not what we expected

The A/C was on a temporary hold at 78 degrees. House was hot and uncomfortable. Freezer was frozen over when we arrived. Glass doors in living room do not lock. Blood stain on downstairs bed sheet. Construction outside and shades do not prevent workers from seeing in. Unfortunately, for what we paid, the house did not provide and will not be coming back.

Terrible experience !!

We thought we were getting a luxury experience. we only got the luxury price and just a dirty , noisy and uncomfortable stay. The checking time was suppose to be at 4. They were late to finish. I gave them a tip($40) to make sure they would clean it really well. The whole place smelled like a urine and alcohol. The toilet was left unclean , feminine products in the trash bin , shower glass was filthy, sand in the sheets of the bunk beds , couch was full of pet hair ( i had to cover it with sheets) and the side chair hasn’t been cleaned in years. We spent that night and morning cleaning . Va casa never resolved anything they only gave us the runaround. We had to put all the sheets to wash and sweep and clean everything . The windows we’re dirty. The grill had to be scrubbed . the patio entrance and matt had to be cleaned and scrubbed . All the door mats smelled so bad . But that’s not all…the next day the whole house was shaking with the construction across the street. The whole vacasa team is trained to be very cordial but they only pass it along to someone else . Finally when they reached the top ( a few days ) the manager only wanted to return the cleaning fees. They didn’t consider the whole afternoon and morning that was spent cleaning their place up. SAD!! We will not rent from Vacasa any longer . there are other places that are managed much better for the same price. I wish i could upload the photos and videos we took. I will be posting on google and other places .

Underwhelmed by Palmilla Beach Resort

At first glance the Palmilla Beach Resort was great! There is a collection of beautifully designed homes that reminded me of my experiences in Destin, Florida. The Mightier than the Sea beach house had a great floor plan with a children’s retreat and sleeping quarters that was built for entertainment and fun. My family and I completed a considerable amount time researching vacation home communities and used our experience at Palmilla Beach Resort to evaluate whether we should invest in a vacation home in Port Aransas. I can confidently state our experience was no where close to what we’ve enjoyed in Destin. The cleanliness of the home and level of service was lackluster. The moment my family walked into the home we were met with an extremely foul odor. We searched the home and determined the pungent odor was coming from the garage which was in a mess and full of trash that was never discarded. There were an excessive number of gnats, flies and mosquitoes within the home which we had to contend with during our entire stay. My guess is the insects were attracted to the garbage in the garage. There were not enough bath towels for a party of 5 staying 3 nights. We only received 4 bath towels in total for our entire stay so we spent more time doing laundry than anticipated. The television sets in the downstairs family room and the upstairs game room were not functioning. I ultimately swapped batteries with another remote in the home in order for my children to watch television in the children’s retreat. I think something as simple as checking to make sure all electronic appliances are operable prior to a patron arriving should never be overlooked. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working upon arrival. We were able to connect but we received a message that there was “no internet connection.” When I called Vacasa the night of my arrival the local property management team told me there was nothing that could be done and I would need to wait until the following day to receive feedback. We NEVER received feedback from the property management team or Vacasa and I constantly had to reach out to the property manager to get closure on all open service issues. After contacting the property manager multiple times a Vacasa representative arrived with a Wi-Fi hot spot which operated intermittently and lacked the high speed performance I needed to operate within my ERP system. Although I was on vacation I own and run a business. I am very involved in daily operations and must have access to high speed internet connectivity to efficiently run my accounting and ERP software. As a result of not having Wi-Fi in my vacation rental we spent several hours at the Palmilla Resort sales office because I had several important transactions I needed to address prior to continuing with my vacation. In addition to Wi-Fi challenges, cellular coverage was extremely spotty at the Palmilla Beach Resort. After speaking with several home owners, rental patrons and construction contractors who were working in the area it was confirmed that poor cellular coverage is a known problem for the Palmilla community and very little has been fine to improve coverage. Because cellular service is poor the importance of Wi-Fi to complete calls via Wi-Fi calling becomes even more paramount. Throughout my experience I remained very patient because it just felt like the resort was either understaffed or not properly trained to accommodate the needs of patrons who choose to invest in establishments like the Palmilla Beach Resort. What tipped the scale for me was when I uncovered I had missed over 20 phone calls from clients, several of which were distress calls from a new client that recently took delivery of several industrial pumps that I distribute. DO NOT Stay Here

There is a porta-potty facing the living room where construction workers constantly come out throughout the day with their pants undone, unzipped, and/or still down. The constructions workers play very loud music with vulgar lyrics and profanities. The roadways are constantly blocked with the large equipment and vehicles. You cannot utilize the courtyard as advertised because of the noise. I reached out multiple times to Vacasa during our stay to have someone come out and check on the issues discussed above while we were there, and although they said someone would reach out, we never heard back. I continued to reach out several times after we returned, and it took 12 days and hours of phone calls to have someone reach back out to me regarding our issues and let me know that the listing will be updated and construction crews talked to. After discussing with Vacasa, the online listing is supposed to be updated regarding the construction. Please pay attention to any warning regarding the construction. At the time I rented, no notice of the construction was given although Vacasa represents that they notified me of the construction with the confirmation. The house is nice, but it is not worth dealing with construction, and definitely not worth dealing with the lack of a response from the onsite property management company(Vacasa).

Great house with lots of amenities.

The house was perfect for our family. Great floor plan to have together time, yet privacy to have your littles nap. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, utensils, and even had several spices if you decide to cook. Numerous boogie boards, beach chairs, and beach towels if you decide not to bring your own. Easy 5 minute walk to the beach using the convenient boardwalk.

The house was not ready at check in. Waited outside for 30 minutes for housekeeping to finish, checkin was supposed to be At 4:00, but housekeeping was still there and asked us to wait for her to finish so at 4:30 we went in. There were only 6 of us (family plus grandma) but it would be very fun to come back here with a second family. My only complaints are with Palmilla the development. The landscaping around the house was awful - overgrown weeds made it look like the place was abandoned. And omg the mosquitoes. We couldn’t do a single thing outside without being swarmed - near the house and pool and gym. I think TurnKey needs to provide higher quality soap and paper towels - it’s like dollar store quality.

Great Beach House

This is our second stay in this house and it's great! Great layout for three families. One set of adults will draw the short straw and stay in the room with the Queen bed off the kid's loft area but it's still great! Lots of space. Good amenities, they have boogie boards and cornhole in the garage for guest use. Plenty of parking and still has views of the dunes and water until they build something in front of it. My only complaint is with Turnkey in general. They are not customer service oriented at all. The refrigerator wasn't cooling off so we called about it. They did have somebody call me right away but initially said they couldn't get somebody out until the next day and I was like "uh nope!" because we had hundreds of dollars of groceries in there. It ended up cooling off but Turnkey always leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Sort of like dealing with the big customer service phone banks overseas. No flexibility on checkout time either. 10am seems a bit early and there is NO option to extend so don't even try. Only other tip is to bring your own soap and shampoo as well as laundry detergent and maybe even dishsoap and paper towels because they are a bit sparse in what they supply. Despite these little things would definitely stay again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property was nice and clean and what was expected. There were a couple of issues that should be immediately addressed. The two sets of French doors leading to the front door CANNOT BE LOCKED. They are missing the slider locks in the dormant door. The door leading out the side of the garage CANNOT BE LOCKED Entry to the house can be made by simply pulling on the doors. This is a safety issue. Additionally the yard was more bushes than yard and was not trimmed at all. I would not stay at this property again and may consider if these safety issues are addressed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is beautiful and comfortable. It has a well-stocked kitchen and many thoughtful amenities. It was perfect for our family - looking for a long-term stay, to work and do e-learning from somewhere warm. However, if you're looking to sleep-in and have a relaxing stay, you might want to wait until next year or even 2023. There is construction going on in most of the neighboring homes. You will be woken up at 7am every day except Sunday. (again, fine for working, but I would have been upset if I were trying to relax)A note about TurnKey: if you book here, do yourself a favor and meet the local team in their office on road 361. They are great. The texting number and the national customer service team is SO BAD. They were mis-informed on numerous items regarding my stay. The only times they were responsive is when they were trying to upsell me on something. They were also rude (we were there during the state-wide power outage and were told they couldn't accommodate an early check-in, in the emergency unit we moved to, which was empty). I cannot overstate how poor the TurnKey customer service can be. Also, you will get locked out randomly. So, unless you want to call TurnKey and chat with them for about 20 mins every other day (which, you don't. See above). Just use the garage entrance.
