About this property

Cabin, romantic, peaceful, beautiful view

At Rusty Barn our country cabin is ideal for a romantic get away or a great place to stay after a long day of work. It is located near the front of our small 80 acre working ranch overlooking the property.

The cabin is designed for a quiet get-a-way with comfort and convenience in mind.

The one-bedroom cabin has a king size bed, large walk-in shower, two leather recliners, satellite TV, and walk in closet with apartment sized washer and dryer.

The cabin is equipped with WIFI, central heat and air, and plenty of large windows for natural lighting.

The entry foyer has a kitchenette with dining table for two, refrigerator, ice machine, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, toaster, and all the kitchenware you might need.

The outdoor grilling area consist of a covered paver patio overlooking the property, TRAEGER wood pellet grill, Blackstone griddle, gas fire pit, and Adirondack rocking chairs, radio/Bluetooth outdoor speaker.

We also have a wood fire pit under the sky located near the covered patio area, if that is more your style.

To complete the experience, we have an exclusive guest shop that you are welcome to browse through at your convenience. We specialize in unique home furnishings, collectibles, custom knives and more.


We are committed to customizing your stay with special requests. Upon completion of booking we can arrange for special occasions, food, beverages, grilling supplies and more.

While at the ranch you are welcome to take walking tours around the property. We have a live freshwater creek within easy walking access. You can visit our enclosed tower wildlife observation stand near the back of the property where deer and wild hogs may be seen early and late in the day.

During your stay expect it to be calm and relaxing. We are a working ranch however your privacy and relaxation will be our goal.

This place is the cutest getaway spot!

Krystal and Mark were the sweetest, most accommodating people! This place was a 10/10! If you want to escape the city and enjoy the countryside; this is the spot to do so! You will get the best sleep here and the quietest vacation! Exploring their land and seeing their cattle was fun! Only being 40 minutes away from Broken Bow was another plus! Thank you so much!

The Perfect Getaway

From the moment we arrived until we left, the owners were amazing! So very attentive and amazing! If we couldn’t figure it out, they would find a way. The ranch was absolutely stunning and beautiful and just what my husband and I need for our little anniversary getaway. We will definitely make a trip back!

Absolutely Amazing

I can not say enough how incredibly relaxing it was here at the rusty barn. Our host was so very sweet and helpful. They live right next door, but you would never even know it. You have complete privacy !! She knew we were there for our anniversary so when we arrived there was a “Happy Anniversary” balloon with 2 incredibly delicious cupcakes waiting on us. We got in pretty late but she waited! She made sure we were okay with everything and comfortable and showed us around a bit. The shower? Amazing…took a 2 hour shower lol. The bed? I could have slept for hours and hours. I didn’t move a bit at night! Everything is just so cute and so perfect. We will most definitely be back!!!Daniel and Laura Turner Grandview, Texas

Amazing Cabin Experience

Kristal and Mark are very hospitable. We arrived at the property later than expected but Kristal met us at the cabin and gave us a tour anyway. The bed is probably the most comfortable I’ve slept on. Plenty of fresh clean towels were provided and the shower was easy to operate. There’s a trail on the property that makes for a good hike to enjoy the outdoors. There’s a grill as well. Mark was extremely helpful and made sure we knew how to use it properly. We’ll definitely be staying again in the future! Highly recommend for couples needing a quick weekend getaway!

Best couple's time

What a wonderful get away for the two of us! Solitude from the noise of the city, nights gazing at a million stars, the sounds of crickets in the dark by the campfire and doves while watching the sunrise in the morning. … And most importantly… time to focus on each other. So many country memories to keep for a lifetime. This was the perfect retreat to remember the feel of cool night air, taste of S’mores over the wood campfire, an occasional visit from the cows and long walks through the pasture, over the creek, and through the woods… all we were missing was Grandma’s house at the other end of the dirt road! Kristal truly has the gift of hospitality as she was attentive to the smallest details. The cabin is adorable and welcoming, and the luxurious bed is beyond comfortable. The special touches were so appreciated – from the cozy robes, the shower bombs, the s’more basket, the most amazing cupcakes ever, and the sweet gift shop full of treasures. But it doesn’t end there…we appreciated the ice maker in the kitchen, the Traeger grill, the unique gas fire pit under the pavilion, the beautifully set dinner table with candles, and the drawer of treats, coffee, tea, and just about any incidentals you might need. The cabin exceeded our expectations and was super clean. Kristal was very welcoming. The property was flat out beautiful… like the shire from Lord of the Rings. We enjoyed every bit of it with our young son. We can’t wait to come back!

All about the experience!

It was clear the host is concerned about the experience. To many details to mention, the entire property inside and the surrounding grounds is well designed and kept neat with a clean feeling. Antiques on display, repurposed items, and fresh renovation in a farm setting make this a delightful place to stay.

Peaceful

The cabin is tucked down a few peaceful country roads and sits directly behind the owner’s home, with a beautiful view and some great outdoor seating options. Mark greeted me when I arrived and gave me a quick tour, and Kristal checked in a couple of times during my stay, both were incredibly kind and welcoming. The space was exactly as pictured, and the robes were so amazing I’m now trying to find one for myself!A thoughtful touch was the “help yourself” drawer with snacks, coffee, and tea. It may seem small, but it made a big impression. There is a gift shop directly connected to the kitchen area, and the door to it remains open. As someone who really values privacy, I felt a bit self-conscious walking around since the kitchen has windows that face that area. It likely wouldn’t bother most guests, but it’s worth noting for fellow introverts.All that said, the cabin was absolutely beautiful and the bed was heavenly—one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. A solid ten out of ten and the view is to die for! Oh, and Kristal left baked goods out for my arrival! A very thoughtful host.

Peaceful getaway

Came here to get away for the weekend. The cabin and the property are beautiful and the hosts have thought of everything you could need. The bed is so soft and comfortable! Fabulous Farm Stay

The Rusty Barn is an amazing place to stay. Beautiful, peaceful and so comfy! The host contacted me the day of our arrival which was nice. Then she met us there and gave us a little tour of the place. She had candles burning and cupcakes for us since my hubby and I have the same birthday. It was so sweet. Hospitality is top notch. She also has a cute gift shop there to get some souvenirs. We can’t wait to go back!

Tranquil Getaway for Couples

We loved our stay at the Rusty Barn. The cabin was immaculate, and we were delighted with the special touches the host left for us. The hosts thought of everything anyone would need during their stay. If you're looking for a relaxing, peaceful getaway, this is the place to go. We enjoyed exploring their hiking trails on their ranch and the location was perfect for us to travel to other attractions like Broken Bow, Beavers Bend State Park and the Beavers Bend Safari Park in Hochatown, OK. Great vacation and lots of good memories.
