About this property

Hi & welcome to the Blue house! The whole group (small & civilized events are ok!) will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located home. We are 1 block away from the famous Sister Pie Bakery & 5 min to all major attractions like Fox Theatre, Little Caesars Arena, Belle Isle and Downtown. We have 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 full large baths. We provide everything you'll need for a short wknd getaway, a work trip, or long term staycation! We also provide two private parking spaces!

This is a beautifully renovated duplex with all new bathrooms, kitchen and hardwood floors. Each side has 2 full beds and 1 bath. Our beds are all queen Tempur-Pedic with night stands and lamps on each side. Our Dining tables seat 5 people each, the TV is 50 inches and our WiFi is business grade. We provide linens, towels, shampoo, body wash and all kitchen ware. If you need a high chair, pack and play, or crib we can put you in touch with a rental company that can assist. We also provide 2 parking spots!

We are located in the Historic West Village neighborhood of Detroit on East Vernor. Just a 3 min walk (one block) to Sister Pie Bakery and Marrow Restaurant/Mamma Maria's/ Two Birds Bar. We are also a 7 minute walk to Redhook Coffee, LCD Yoga and Cycling/Detroit Vegan Soul/Metropolitan Kitchen etc. We are on a very quiet , family friendly street, we know all our neighbors. Most of the houses on our block have been renovated but a couple have not. Please don't let that alarm you, this is just the case with ALL OF DETROIT. If someone tells you differently then they are most likely not being honest with you. We are right across from a school and a beautiful park with new basketball courts. It does not get any safer than that.

We are 5-7 min drive to Belle Isle, the Detroit RiverWalk, Eastern Market and downtown Detroit.

We absolutely do not allow any loud parties that disturb us (we are your neighbors!) We do allow events, but please inquire BEFORE booking.

Night for a ball game

Great property and safe. Neighborhood didn't look great, but house was well locked and clean and we would definitely stay there again and plenty of room for all 4 of the guest that stayed! Thank you!
