With Shipwatch, there’s no need to load up the hot car to get to the beach or drag a cooler for blocks during a steaming Florida summer only to have to fight with thousands of other visitors for your spot in the sand.

With Shipwatch, leave your car in the driveway. Simply walk out the back fence gate directly onto a neighborhood beach access. Yep, at Shipwatch you are only 30 seconds away from one of the least crowded, most-rewarding beach experiences possible along Florida’s famous Emerald Coast!

By being adjacent to the Gulf of Mexico, you’ll be able to genuinely enjoy our amazing ocean while on the beach; smell and hear the ocean while grilling next to Shipwatch’s (seasonally heated between October 1 and April 30) pool, and soak in the amazing ocean views from every one of Shipwatch’s floors.

Located on a quiet road off of Scenic Gulf Drive (which is Destin and Miramar Beach’s premiere beach area), Shipwatch truly offers the best of both worlds: central to activities, dining, and the Gulf’s largest premium outlet mall, yet away from the millions who visit our area each year. Pool: Shipwatch's pool is 18 feet long, 10 feet wide, with a shallow end of 3 feet and deep end of 5 feet.

NOTE: Check in time is 4:00 PM CST. Check out time is 10:00 AM CST. Our staff needs time to properly clean, sanitize, inspect and maintain the property. Because the property is extremely heavily booked we are unable to offer early check ins, late check outs, early parking or luggage drop offs.

NOTE: Guests are not permitted to have anything shipped or mailed (through a carrier such as USPS, UPS, or Fedex) to the property. Please be aware that the property does not have postal service and your packages will most likely be returned by the carrier.

NOTE: Guests are not permitted to have local deliveries (such as baby gear, beach chairs/gear, groceries, golf carts) made prior to their check-in time of 4:00 PM CST and are not permitted to have local pick-ups made after their check-out time of 10:00 AM CST.

NOTE: If you would like to reserve VRBO more than 11 months in advance, you must use the VRBO website, rather than the VRBO app. The VRBO app only shows the calendar for up to 11 months which means that it can only be used for reservations less than a year away. Thanks!

NOTE: This property is available for vacation rental only. Parties are prohibited.

NOTE: AGE REQUIREMENTS. You must be at least 25 years old to reserve Bliss during Spring Break. Sorry, no exceptions.

NOTE: Sorry, no pets. No emotional support animals (ESA). No exceptions. Many of our Guests have pet allergies and rely on us to provide a pet free environment. Bringing a pet or an emotional support animal (ESA) is a violation of your booking agreement that will result in the cancellation of your reservation without refund.

NOTE: The property only has two exterior cameras. One faces the driveway and the other faces the trash area. The cameras are only capable of recording the exterior of the property (that are publicly visible anyway). The cameras are not capable of seeing the pool, pool area, or property's interior.

NOTE: The property has an exterior security camera(s) that face the driveway and/or entrance and smoke detectors throughout the property. Tampering with the exterior security camera(s) or smoke detector on the property is a violation of the booking agreement. Guests will be charged a $500 fine for tampering with the security camera(s) or smoke detector(s) and the reservation will be cancelled immediately without a refund.

NOTE: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house. This includes cigarettes, cigars, marijuana, etc. A $500-1000 additional cleaning charge will be added to remove the smell of smoke from the house.
