Nort-sur-erdre farmhouse with all the comforts

Large well appointed gite, with beautiful gardens and grounds to wander around. Definitely worth the stay and would recommend it.

A lovely gite, in a beautiful setting, with a fabulous garden to enjoy

We had a great stay in this lovely gite, overlooking the beautiful gardens of the main house. It was impeccably clean, incredibly quiet, and well appointed. An absolute delight!

A peaceful oasis in a beautiful location

The gite was beautifully furnished and very well equipped with everything that we needed and more. The garden with lots of shade and furniture to eat or relax outside was a great bonus. The only tiny downside was that the only toilet is downstairs which if you need a visit in the night is not so convenient but easily manageable. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Idyllic France at its best!

This property was absolutely beautiful. A farmhouse setting with apple orchards all around, this was the perfect place to stay when visiting the Loire Valley. Genevieve and Dinis were fabulous hosts who made us feel so welcome with fresh apples and tomatoes provided for us, as well as access to a lovely swimming pool that was most welcome at the end of a busy day traveling around Nantes, Angers, Chateaubriand to name a few. The gite was well furnished, very clean, and had lovely French white linen on the bed. I would highly recommend this property.

Fabulous home from home on the river

With two young children, this was the perfect place for a holiday in the French countryside. The children really appreciated having the freedom to explore the garden and they loved the play equipment and the pool. The location on the river is ideal for exploring with your own kayak. The house was spotlessly clean and filled with thoughtful touches to make life flow more easily. And then there are the tomatoes - such tomatoes!

Calm cottage in beautiful surroundings

This little cottage ist well equipped and was very clean. The shared garden was very calm and beautiful. The hosts are very friendly and always polite and very helpful when needed. The whole property is very picturesque with old buidings and flowers. The large pool is secured and very clean. There is a little Self-service shop were we‘ve bought cucumber, tomatoes and Apples. Fresh from the Farm. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Great Gite in a beautiful setting.

We stayed for 5 days at the end of June. The Gite was very clean and everything was as described. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the grounds and flowers but especially enjoyed the beautiful pool as the weather was hot enough to use. Nice restaurants in the area. Supermarket is a 5 minute drive away and if you want to go to Nantes, take the tram from the station 5 minutes away. It would be nice if the gravel road to the unit was graded but otherwise a wonderful place..would definitely go back.

What a welcome. what a gem!

We were warmly greeted by the lovely owner, Genevieve, who is very friendly and welcoming. The property is surrounded by roses and other flowers, in a beautiful and quiet setting in a beautiful part of France, and near to local amenities. It is a joy to stay in; so clean and well maintained, tastefully decorated, comfortable seating and beds, good shower room,and well equipped. Pretty outlook from the back over the garden, with table and chairs on the terrace. The only disadvantage for some would be the fact that the only loo is downstairs, but apart from that, we would recommend staying here unreservedly.

Lovely, peaceful place to stay

We enjoyed a lovely, quiet week here. The gite is very well appointed and in a super location (note: you have an off-road track to follow to get to the property so it is well away from the main town). Geneviève and her husband are great hosts and leave you to your own devices but are very happy for you to roam the gardens and and adjoining river access. If you like wildlife, we saw plenty of lizards, red squirrel, woodpeckers, various large hawks, one snake....in other words, lots to watch. Having visited Nantes previously, we can recommend it but would also highly recommend a visit to Angers. The zoo at La Boissière-du-Doré is also well worth a trip. Access to the coast is a definite day out. Would definitely recommend this gite for a holiday.

Lovely house with a stunning garden

We had a lovely week at Genevieve’s house in Nort sur Erdre. The house has been decorated and equipped with style and quality, I’m not sure I’ve stayed anywhere where so much thought has obviously gone in to arranging a holiday home. Genevieve gave us a wonderful welcome, she is a very warm and joyful person. The garden was the real highlight for me, the birds there are incredible, golden orioles, four types of woodpecker, hundreds of song birds. We saw red squirrels and hares on the lawn and coypu and water birds on the river. The pool is lovely too. Genevieve also sells produce from the estate and we bought the most delicious tomatoes ever from her the day before we left.

Lovely Tranquil Property on a Family Apple Farm with Horses in Your Backyard!

This rental apartment is a relatively recently renovated part of a larger farmhouse. Essentially part of a family compound. The smell of apples were in the air, as the farm has an apple orchard. The apples, and some other legumes, are available for purchase around the other side of the house. My morning routine was to bring down one apple each for each of the 4 horses in the backyard. They certainly appreciated it. The town of Nort-sur-Erdre is quite vibrant, with everything one would need right there. Including a Super-U, a Cave du vin, boulanger, a very nice Kabab shop good for a quick lunch, a fine restaurant in the center of town, and a tram train that goes direct to Nantes and Chateaubriant in about 30 minutes. The proprietress of the maison was very welcoming. I strongly recommend staying here if your travels bring you to the Loire/Southern Brittany.

Bezaubernde Gite auf parkähnlichen, großen Grundstück.

Die Ferienwohnung geht über 2 Etagen, ist äußerst sauber, liebevoll und qualitativ hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und gastfreundlich. Großer, gepflegter Swimmingpool, Freisitz im Garten ist voll ausgestattet. Kurzum: ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Merveilleux séjour

Nous sommes restés une semaine dans ce gîte et avons énormément apprécié la qualité de la prestation. Un endroit enchanteur!

Nous avons passé un séjour vraiment merveilleux dans ce gîte charmant, très bien équipé et merveilleusement situé. Le parc est un véritable enchantement! C'est un lieu idéal pour profiter de la nature. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et très disponibles. Et la formule est tout confort (linge de maison fourni, ménage compris...).
