The long driveway leading to Joris's farm gradually immerses you in the heart of the Normandy countryside. This lane once led to the Château de Vesly, which was obliterated by the bombings of 1944... except for one tower. It was in this unusual location that the young owner envisioned a gîte, and on these ruins that he embarked on the task of creating, after years of work, a cozy four-level accommodation. Large windows offer a breathtaking panorama of nature from every floor. The spacious balcony terrace is a true haven of peace, where you can take the time to observe deer, foxes, or birds around the pond or in the hedgerows. The approach is therefore environmentally conscious in this preserved setting (natural plaster, solar panels, etc.). It is this return to the essentials that Joris loves to share and that he has infused into this project.
