Excellent stay and great hosts. Home away from home with everything you need in a lovely rural location. Local town of Loches is very nearby via car and is really beautiful.

The house was lovely with a really well equipped kitchen and living room with a cosy fire. We had a great time and would recommend the property to others. The host was exceptional in responding to our requests.

An amazing property. The photos don't do it justice. We had a brilliant holiday here with our family and young children. The pool is perfect and the property is finished to a brilliant standard. Great location with a supermarket close and a boulangerie in the nearby village. A good location to visit the chateau of the Loire and Loches is a very pretty and interesting town. Highly recommend this property.

Secluded gem of a property with great pool!

Never write reviews but felt compelled to leave one here. The pictures don’t do this listing justice, the house was larger than we imagined much to our delight. The outside areas are massive and completely secluded, the pool is bigger than the picture suggests and was a big hit with kids and adults alike. Internally the house is beautifully furnished but really practical and functional. Would happily come back again. As others have said you ideally need a car (which we had) as it is remote, which is what we were after.

The property is lovely and well equipped, the swimming pool area is clean and a good size. The views from the terrace are lovely and there is plenty of space outside,This house is in a great location for visiting local towns and good access roads to travel further afield,Our week coincided with a heat wave and the property was very hot. The main first floor bedroom was 33 degrees in the evening and unusable, even with fans supplied in the property. The family room had aircon so we were able to use this room for the young children and their parents but the rest of the property remained very warm. There was an additional aircon unit in a downstairs bedroom but it was not working. There were plenty of fans in the property. The property is next to a farm so there were a large number of flies outside at all times but this was more likely to have been exacerbated by the heat. These problems aside, we had an amazing holiday and would highly recommend this house.

Formidable

Klein paradijs

We verbleven in Les Arcis in augustus 2023. Het huisje is perfect uitgerust en ingericht. Heel smaakvol!

Beautiful Rural Retreat

Lovely restored farmhouse building - well set up and essentially is a home from home. Bedrooms all very comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Maybe the pool area could do with a little TLC but all enjoyed our time around the pool in the hot weather. Support from owner and local contact were very good whilst at the property to sort out any issues/questions we had. House is in a rural location but only a short 10 minute drive to the town of Loches which is fantastic.

A week at Les Arcis

If you want to get away from it all in rural France, this is definitely the place! Beautifully secluded and off the beaten track, yet close enough to all the amenities you could possibly need in the nearby town of Loches. We loved the stylish furnishings and luxe finishes to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The beds in particular were the most comfortable we've slept in outside of our own homes. We so appreciated the many thoughtful extras provided, like kitchen roll and dishwasher tablets - along with a very useful 'welcome basket' - thank you! We made good use of the pool although the weather was changeable during our stay - it was still fun to swim in the rain!
