About this property
Base Camp Cabin on Main
Beautiful, two-bedroom log cabin located between Paintrock Creek and Medicine Lodge Creek, in the small town of Hyattville Wyoming. A great basecamp for outdoor enthusiasts. Nestled in the town of Hyattville, population 79, the cabin offers the quiet, remote atmosphere that people seek when traveling to Wyoming. The cabin is fully furnished with all the amenities necessary to make a one day, or a one month stay comfortable. From the front door one has instant access to hiking, mountain biking, hunting, fishing, climbing, ATVing, or a variety of other outdoor adventures. For those who wish to simply relax, the outdoor space and spacious deck at the cabin provide excellent locations to sit back and enjoy the quiet of the day and the dark nights filled with stars. Nestled in the western foothills of the Big Horn Mountains, below the pristine Cloud Peak Wilderness, the cabin serves as an excellent base camp for the many activities that northern Wyoming provides. And yes, even though we are remote and there is generally no cell service in the area, we provide great cell signal and internet for our guests!

Everything was perfect. Snacks were provided, bathroom amenities were ample. Very clean and host checked in to make sure all our needs were meg. Best VRBO in last two years.
This was one of the best home rentals we have ever stayed at. The peace and quiet is amazing and the hosts are very nice and welcomed us into their property. We will definitely be back for an even longer stay. Thank you again. Ray and Eva
Our family visited Hyattville for the 1st time since our son has moved there to work on at a ranch retreat. This cabin was PERFECT!Very spacious family room area, huge bedrooms, plenty of room to park our truck and trailer, grassed backyard, & a sweet front porch for morning coffee & evening drinks. Well stocked kitchen, plus fun games & books for extra entertainment. The home was very clean, comfortable & had a fun Wyoming western decor theme!Hosts were very kind & had GREAT communication! We FOR SURE will be back to enjoy everything this cabin & town offers again! THANK YOU!!!
We enjoyed everything about this house and community! Carl and Collette are amazing people who went above and beyond for us. Highly recommend staying at this location!
We've stayed at other rental properties but none this accommodating. They went above and beyond with making our stay as comfortable as possible. We would definitely stay again.

About the host
Hosted by Carl and Colette Meyer
We were looking for a second home when we found our house here in Hyattville, WY, where we currently reside. Our roots here in town are long as years ago our family owned the Hyattville Bar and Cafe. Many of our friends remember our families past and it’s fun to reminisce about the old times. Both of us recently retired and decided we would purchase this cabin, remodel it, and try providing a piece of our heaven here on earth with travelers.
Why they chose this property
Quiet rural environment where you can hear the creek, watch the wildlife, and view the stars.
