The Flat sits above 2 fabulous shops. The House of Glory is a new and very popular café with incredible espresso drinks, desserts, gelato, and lunch items. The White Owl is a men's and woman's apparel, gifts and home goods store. You will definitely want to stop into both of these fabulous places during your stay.

We have so many wonderful shops in our historic downtown. Shoes, clothing, Glass Blowing shop, gallery's, bike shop, western wear, chocolate & pop corn, antiques malls, jewelry stores, plant shop and The Never a Bum Steer is and everything shop! Too many to list.... We have so many fabulous restaurants and bars, The twisted Cork is just steps away from the Flat, with in and outdoor seating. The Laughing Clam, The Haul, The Horny Goat, The Bohemian, the Food Studio, Lulu's, Circle J and Carson's Bistro (call for reservations) are all within a block from the Flat. New restaurants popping up everywhere!! If You feel like walking 2 blocks you can experience Climate City Brewing co. with indoor and beautiful outdoor seating. In the same building the Steam distillery is a fun experience as well. If you are feeling like a street taco Lapita's on the corner of E and 7th, an easy 2 block walk, has great food, (lunch only).
Our Farmers market 9:00 Saturday mornings, located within a block from the Flat, behind our Post Office, is more than veggie!! Take a stroll through and experience freshly baked breads, sweets and what our local artists have to offer. It's Awesome!

Enjoy hiking, biking, rafting, fishing, jet boat excursions all within a couple miles from town. Did you say you love wine! Just a Short drive to the beautiful Southern Oregon Wine trail which starts in the Applegate Valley. Our Grants Pass Welcome center has all of the information you need to plan your trip to our beautiful wineries or any other attraction in Grants Pass. Located on the corner of 6th and G. (right across the street). There you will find more places to experience in our area including local Lavender Farms, Wild life images, and so much more!!
