"This house was so beautiful inside! Nice open floor plan and very aesthetic decor and a nice river view from the living room and deck. Nice big property with a fire pit and chairs. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly. There were a lot of nice added accommodations as well as a gift left for us (a bottle of wine and donuts) I would definitely recommend!"
"Our stay was very nice. We walked in to find donuts and a bottle of wine on the counter. The charm of the house is very rustic but modern. We all felt cozy and welcomed, like it was our own home. Definitely recommend this property!"

The property had everything we needed. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. And having the option to purchase snacks and beverages from the fridge and pantry was convenient.
This place was a treasure! Everything was so lovely. Very clean with wonderful special touches. The views are beautiful and the outdoor was a wonderful treat for us to sit around and enjoy the evening. Highly recommend this place. Owners were excellent with communication and even left us a bottle of wine and pastries as a welcomed gift!
Let me start by saying the River House is a gorgeous home with everything you need for a successful stay. It has beautiful views and an amazing adjustable King bed in the primary. Adam was very quick with responses to questions, check in and out was a breeze. I feel they are very upfront with the description of the property, so I caution you to read carefully, view photos closely, and ask questions. This is an upside down floor plan with living/kitchen upstairs and bedrooms downstairs. There is an outdoor staircase and an indoor spiral staircase to get up and down. I have arthritic limitations and our son-in-law broke his leg just a few weeks before our visit to Oregon. We managed and made it work, but be aware, if you have limitations it may be an issue. Also the rocks are tricky to walk on and are covering the walking surface on the majority of the property. If there are no physical limitations, this IS the house for you! Also, it’s a pretty steep walk down to the river, you’d be better off going to a local park on the river to access it, but it is a very pretty view. I will say they priced this house accordingly and you can’t beat the price, nor the fact there’s no cleaning fee (although we cleaned it mostly the way we found it, which is only fair!) overall, I highly recommend this beautiful home!
Well, the house was ok. BUT it REALLY has only 2 bedrooms.... the 'third' sleeping area is in the living room on hard leather-like sofas that were not comfortable for sleeping... (They're the sofas in the picture) and with people playing cards at the table and folks making breakfast in the morning.... sleeping was in no way 'comfy'.
We enjoyed our brief stay at the River House. The space was roomy and we appreciated the king-size bed in the main bedroom. The views of the river were lovely, too. Wish we had more time to venture down to the river. But it was a great place for our stay.
We enjoyed our stay at the River House. Very nice house. Can see the river through the trees. Steep stairs go down to a dirt road that follows along the river for a nice walk in the morning. Only stayed one night on our way to Portland. It was a clean and restful place to stop.
Love the place everything was super clean, tight parking if you have a bigger truck but other than that it was a great stay

Check in was easy. A wonderful home, very relaxing. Wish we could stay longer but we're just passing through this time. Would definitely seek this property for a longer stay in the future.
This house exceeded above and beyond my expectations. The house is absolutely beautiful. My husband, and son were also very pleased with their stay. We overall would highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone looking to have an enjoyable experience in Grants Pass.
Our family loved the seclusion and unique beauty of this home! It was clean, quiet, and met all of our needs. My (adult) son and I climbed down to the river and walked (it is a steep climb with stairs most of the way but definitely doable). We enjoyed hanging out, playing games, and reuniting. Mind you, we were here in the winter so it was a little cool outside, and we didn't think to turn our heat on downstairs so it was a little chilly when we went to bed. We were prepared the following night, though, and the fireplaces helped keep us toasty! Our stay was not long enough, and we are already talking about next year. Thank you for opening your home to us!

Everything was just as shown. Beautiful furnishings and all the touches to make it feel like home. The large soaking tub and fireplaces were a lovely way to unwind from a long day of driving. Highly reccommend and would love to visit again!
Beautiful house. Stairs a bit challenging particularly for elders. Just one shower and there is a tub on the master bedroom. Two toilets (one on each floor).
Items are available to purchase and there are also numerous courtesy items available in the kitchen houses very well equipped everything is great except for the one shower only.
The patio is impressive and one can enjoy a wonderful view of the river nearby. Great property, thanks
The house & stay was nice . Except in all 3 mornings the kitchen counter was full of ants everywhere, they got into our food. Found some ant spray under counter but was empty.
The house is beautiful and the scenery gorgeous. My two small complaints are (1) lack of night-time-visible street signage for the house number and (2) there is no mention in the listing of the kitchen/living area being upstairs. The interior staircase down to the bedrooms is narrow and steep and presented an accessibility issue for 2 members of the party. They were able to use the exterior porch stairs during the day but that’s not very comfortable at night in the dark/cold.
For a fully able-bodied group this is an amazing location.
The property is even better in person than in the pictures--the view of the mountains is gorgeous. Just a few minutes away from downtown and great restaurants. Really appreciated the hospitality and kindness. We had to adjust our travel plans because of weather and the host was so kind. The bottle of wine and chocolates on the pillow were lovely extra touches. 100% recommend and would stay again.
The location was quiet and peaceful, overlooking the river. The house was very comfortable, with all the creature comforts imaginable. Conveniently located within 10 minutes of downtown Grants Pass. We hope to come back next time we are in the area!
