Lots of amenities in the kitchen with extra towels, linens, etc. check in was super easy with quick communication for any questions we had. The location was convenient for anywhere we went. The backyard was amazing with a beautiful view from the hot tub. The game room in the garage was a big plus for our kids.
Perfect place to stay in Southern Oregon. We had a blast. My husband fished in the river and caught a few nice steelheads. Son loved the deck and the hot tub. The game room in the garage was the best at night. Would definitely stay here again.
The house and its location is AMAZING! The kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils we needed. We really enjoyed the comfy beds, hot tub, and game room!

Absolutely great home right on the river. We were able to fish and sit in the hot tub, ride bikes and just enjoy the view. Very spacious living quarters, plenty of bed options and the game room was great!

It's about the river
The house is clean and well appointed for your stay, with nice outdoor furniture, hot tub, fire pit, etc. The highway traffic noise was more than we expected and was really unfortunate given the beautiful Rogue River location.
This home was perfect for a family with younger children. There was not a lot of things to get into. The home was welcoming but had a simplicity to it that was perfect for kids. The game room was great and the heater in the room kept it nice since it was in the garage. It was comfortable and great for the kiddos. The river ran through the back and was peaceful while enjoying the hot tub. You will definitely need to take all the necessity like dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags with you. We could not run the dishwasher until we bought some. Great place to stay and we would go back and stay again.

A bit disappointed!!!
We enjoyed the house and had a lovely time - HOWEVER, the fridge and freezer were very dirty!!! We were left one dishwasher pod for the entire stay and very little toliet paper - we had to purchase both! We had hoped to enjoy the decks and hottub but there were workmen there half of the time of our stay, pounding boards and shoveling rock which made it most uncomfortable for us to go outside!! We had to wipe out all drawers, etc before we could use - overall, the cleaning staff was not on top of their game!!! We have stayed in many houses in our 16 years of doing this and we try to not complain - just want to bring these things to your attention!
We had a great stay. Ryan, the property manager was very responsive and patient with lots of questions from me. The property is beautiful, clean and well maintained and my grandkids loved going down to the River. We had seven adults and 3 children. Keep in mind, while technically you can sleep 14, it's not very comfortable as they consider the queen bunk beds as sleeping four. There are no rails on the top bunk so we were reluctant to put our 4, 5 and 8 year olds up there. Luckily we had adults who were capable of climbing up and down the bunk beds. They generously start you off with paper goods and soap. The towels were nice and big and plenty of them. The kitchen was very well stocked. The fire pit was fun and we also enjoyed the hot tub. Very convenient to fun hikes, Crater Lake and the redwoods. All in all, it was a great place for family and would recommend.
Our stay at the Sleepy Canoe was perfect. The home and grounds were very clean and charming. The kitchen was clean and well stocked with new appliances, dishes, glasses and cookware. (not the typical random garage sale stock you find at some rentals) The outside space had lots of areas to relax and take in the beautiful river rushing past. The hosts were very available and warmly welcomed us. There was very little road noise over the sound of the river. We will definitely be back.
The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 was that there wasn't enough seating in the living area to accommodate 8 of us. The furniture there was uncomfortable and needed to be replaced.
Went to Gold Hills for a ‘framily” memorial service. The house was better than the pictures but the entertainment deck space was the cherry on top. Incredible! Very comfortable house with comfortable bedrooms and plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked and the accomations for pets was very welcoming. I will surely stay again but for longer in order to just have some downtime by the river!
This was by far one of our best stays. The house has plenty of room, was clean and fitted our needs beautifully. Our only complaint was unable to find a cookie sheet, so you see that is not a real issue. It is a beautiful setting, and the outdoor patios are very nice. We were not able to take advantage due to weather and it being accessed by steep stairs and inclines. I
Our visit was amazing. Our weekend getaway at this tucked away location was in the perfect location for our time away from home. It was located center ally to our destinations and was such a great fit. Easy to deal with renters and they were very responsive! We can’t wait to book again!
