The Sleepy Canoe - A Cozy River front house near everything in Southern Oregon

The Sleepy Canoe is a great getaway located right on the Rogue River with fabulous views. This is a perfect location is half way between Ashland and Grants Pass, Oregon on the Rogue River, and only 15 minutes from the Medford Airport. Enjoy fishing, cycling, wine tasting and rafting the best rapids on the Rogue River. Sleeps and feeds 14 people and has a private fishing area at the bottom of the trail below the house. Enjoy this special one-of-a-kind escape. The house is brand new and ready for you! No parties w COVID-19 regs.

Any more than 4 guests, we charge 30 dollars each per night due to extra bed usage and amenities used.

No cats allowed.

All I can say is wow. This place is absolutely amazing the pictures online do not do it justice. It's a beautiful beautiful home right on the river and the host Wendy is beyond amazing. I am here having eye surgery and I couldn't have picked a better spot to recover. The place was super clean and the kitchen is well well stocked with a bunch of stuff that just makes you want to cook lol. The place was immaculately cleaned and I absolutely will be back.

Great property! Great river views great clean hot tub. Be aware you are close to the neighbors, sharing yards but otherwise it’s a non factor and I’d happily stay here again!

Lots of amenities in the kitchen with extra towels, linens, etc. check in was super easy with quick communication for any questions we had. The location was convenient for anywhere we went. The backyard was amazing with a beautiful view from the hot tub. The game room in the garage was a big plus for our kids.

Great Place to Stay

We had a fantastic visit. The house was clean and comfortable, but nothing beats the fantastic outdoor living area! We just loved the deck and appreciated the fabulous outdoor seating.
