We host wine dinners at our B&B in Jasper County, typically with Fredericksburg wine makers. We were looking for somewhere close to our next wine maker and this fit the bill. A small kitchen to heat up a few pre-prepared items and a charming breakfast table that seated the six of us. Pastries waiting in the fridge were a welcome treat, and the cows all heading up to the fence as we drove in were a very joyous welcoming committee. Overall, a good stay.
Me and my wife stayed for our honeymoon and it was exactly what we needed. We had a minor water issue but it was addressed and taken care of right away. Will be returning
Nice weekend get away. We happened to be there with the wild fires, which burned 9000 acres so it was cut short. But, if your looking for a place away, this is a great place.
We enjoyed the quiet, the cows, the llamas and the little house was a great getaway. You are 20+ minutes to anything, but that's the point. The night sky was amazing. Thank you to our host for opening up their property to us.
The property was a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of the big city and job stress. It was easy to unplug from that world and connect with my loved one in the quiet serene environment. For us it was the perfect balance because we were close enough to Fredericksburg to fully enjoy its perks and far enough away to enjoy the stars and beautiful rugged hill country views. The host left a basket full of sweet treats which was a nice touch. I would stay there again.
