About this property

Renwick Mansion Guest House

***We are renovating and making changes in November 2026, so if you previously booked through October there are some changes in this description that will not be accurate for your stay. We will update pictures of the game room and bedrooms (there will no longer be bunk beds) as the renovations get done.***. The Renwick Mansion Guest house is a 1300 square foot three bedroom house that is part of the 4 acre Renwick Mansion estate. It sits on a beautiful partially wooded lot in central Davenport. The house has been part of the same parcel as Renwick since they were all part of the St. Katherine's historic district. Now, the Renwick Mansion is a wedding and event venue with this guest house on the property, and is also rentable on VRBO. If you plan your stay while Renwick is hosting a public event you can catch a concert or comedy show right next door! (Check the Renwick Mansion FB/Instagram page for details)
On the first floor, the house has a game room with bumper pool/foosball and TV, dining room, kitchen and a family room with a sectional couch and projection screen TV. The kitchen is equipped with all the basics to make sure you can cook on the gas stove/oven and microwave during your stay.
On the second floor there are three bedrooms and one bathroom. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and a TV, bedroom 2 has a full/Double size bed and bedroom 3 has a queen bed.
There is a fenced in backyard with a brick patio/firepit, back stoop and grill. The lot is shared with The Renwick Mansion, and has plenty of space on the four acres that is near the guest house to explore and play yard games. There is on street parking and off street parking at the end of the lot shared with Renwick as well.
The house is just a few blocks from the river and bike path, and a mile from downtown Davenport and The Historic East Village- both of them are great places to shop, eat or bar hop!

Everything was great at the house and just as described. With only one bathroom, it could be challenging for multiple people to stay, but we were able to manage it easily with six adults. Definitely recommend this property!

This house has well-furnished living spaces and lots of sleeping space. The house is very old, so the stairs are steep, the floors are creaky, and the bathroom has an old clawfoot tub as a shower that is hard to use. Be prepared for train horns in the middle of the night too! The location was good, and the owners were helpful and responsive.

Inside of property was very clean and met our needs but outside was nothing like the pictures. Three patio areas and each were VERY unkept. No sweeping or cleaning off furniture and patio area in backyard and was overgrown with trees growing in it. Whole outside is not well cared for, which was a disappointment. Inside was very clean, beds were comfortable, and kitchen met our needs.

Charming guest house

The Renwick Guest House was a charming spot for our family gathering .The house was clean and quaint, and the yard with the grill was perfect for our BBQ. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
