Great Place to Stay

We rented this great little house, that was centrally located to the places we needed to be at in Tampa. It was just as advertised, and had more than enough room for all 4 adults staying there. All appliances worked flawlessly and there was plenty of space to prepare meals. We would definitely stay here again!

Historic Craftsman

We absolutely loved our darling Craftsman cottage. The house was designed and furnished for cheer and comfort. Super comfortable couch with soft throws to wrap up in. Beds with crisp freshly laundered hotel quality bedding. The appliances, flooring, countertops and tile were top quality and absolutely spotless. We will definitely be back and will refer to friends and family.

I was very very happy with my stay. The amenities were very much like being in my own home. It was neat to be in such a eclectic environment! The neighborhood did have a lot of down on their luck types but no one really bothered us. Cameron was help just the best he addressed every single concern in a timely complete and consistent manor. He made my stay worth it!!!

The street and surrounding area seemed unsafe

Although the house itself was well maintained, the entire street was not. There was obvious drug activity right on the corner as well as people hanging out in the street being disruptive. All the homes on the street that had cars had them behind fences on their property. I did not feel I would be safe in this home or that my car would be safe either. The host said it's clearly described on the website that the area has homeless shelters, 1/2 way houses and soup kitchens but that really does not prepare someone for the drug activity out in the street and people wandering up and down the street (a residential side street). The whole immediate area really was extremely seedy. I do not see how someone can rent out this property on VRBO and put it on the rentor to be OK with this scenario.
