Welcome to the end moraine landscape Basthorst.

Our Kunst Pension Frahm was newly built and opened in early 2016. Sleep in up to 4 spacious double rooms with 35m2 - each is furnished to a high standard, individually furnished and artistically designed.

Birds wake up to early birds. And no matter how long you rest in the box-spring beds in the morning - you never sleep through the view of the forest landscape with the old beech trees. In the large communal kitchen, even those in the morning like to wake up and even amateur cooks feel at home.

Comfortable loungers in the spacious garden are waiting for a relaxing midday sleep outdoors and extensive sunbathing. A day at the beach on the nearby Baltic Sea? It's always a good idea. Or would you prefer swimming in the calm Glambeck lake? Our insider tip for guests of the Kunst Pension is hidden within walking distance from the house.

Huge sequoias rise up into the Mecklenburg sky here. You can also see how well ospreys, kingfishers and beavers like it here. And then a barbecue in the evening! Gladly, we would have prepared something there: 120 m2 terrace with gas grill and additional fireplace, including box seats for the sunset. Does that suit your taste?

We almost forgot - WinstonGolf was voted the best golf course in Germany in 2015. Why do we mention this? The places start a few tees from us - you will be there in 5 minutes.

Our creative activities and excursions into the pristine nature are very popular with companies and ensure good entertainment and high spirits at family celebrations. Einfach schön

Der Empfang und gesamte Aufenthalt waren geprägt durch eine sehr herzliche bis familiäre Gastlichkeit durch Jana und Michael Frahm. Wir hatten das gesamte Haus mit 4 Zimmern (wirklich so geschmackvoll und hübsch wie auf den Bildern) und Küche gemietet und damit Zugang zu einer wunderschönen Terrasse mit großen und gemütlichen Sitzplätzen sowie Tischtennisplatte und Grill. Eine lichtdurchlässige Überdachung hat es uns möglich gemacht, bei jedem Wetter draußen zu sitzen und den traumhaft schön gestalteten großen Garten zu genießen, der in Feld und Wald mündet. "Geht nicht", scheint es für die Gastgeber nicht zu geben, sie hatten für alles ein offenes Ohr. Wirklich reizend ist die Umgebung in dem kleinen Künstlerviertel und die Nähe zum See, der Floßfahren, SUP und Schwimmen zu jeder Zeit ermöglicht.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr liebevoll und farbenfroh eingerichtet. Keine Wünsche sind offen geblieben. Für Fragen war immer ein Ohr offen. Im tollen Garten konnten wir komplett abschalten. Es war ein perfekter Urlaub.

Wonderful place

We - a family of seven people - had rented all four apartments for a summer stay. The place was perfect for us. The rooms were beautifully decorated - exactly as seen on the website. Our high expectations were fully met. The kitchen was spacious and very well equipped. The outdoor area was fantastic with plenty of chairs and tables - and a table tennis that kept all of busy for a week. To be recommended: A trip to Schwerin, canoeing on the Warnow, small zoo on the outskirts of Schwerin, hiking in the local area, taking a dip in Lake Glambecker. Jana Frahm was the perfect host. We hope to come back some day.

Tolles Familienwochenende!

Wir haben ein tolles langes Wochenende mit unseren erwachsenen Kindern verbracht, umgeben von Kunst und wunderbarer Landschaft. Die Zimmer sind sehr stimmungsvoll und modern eingerichtet. Die große Gemeinschaftsküche, sowie Terasse und Garten standen uns allein zur Verfügung. Familie Frahm hat uns viele Tips zur Gestaltung des Kurzurlaubs gegeben. Besonders zu erwähnen ist hier die Floßfahrt auf dem Glambecksee mit Stefan. Ein tolles Erlebnis. Alles in Allem ein gelngenes Wochenende!

Wir sind super zufrieden, es war ein toller Urlaub. Vielen Dank an Familie Frahm. Ganz in der Nähe sind in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß das Schloss mit schönem Kinderspielplatz und der See zu erreichen. Ideal für kleine Kinder. Gerne wieder!

Motorrad Tour in die Heimat

Wir sind insgesamt mit 5 Personen und 5 Motorrädern in dieser schönen Unterkunft angekommen. Im Vorfeld haben wir einige Wünsche geäußert, die 100%ig umgesetzt wurden und sogar noch etwas besser als erwartet. Vielen Dank nochmals dafür. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt und nichts vermisst. Tolles verlängertes Wochenende mit der Familie

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Kunstpension. Von Anfang bis Ende hat wirklich alles gestimmt. Die Kommunikation vorab, der Check in und alles vor Ort hätte nicht besser sein können. Die Zimmer sind toll eingerichtet und jedes ist individuell gestaltet - mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Da wir alle Zimmer belegt hatten, hatten wir die große und perfekt ausgestattet Küche (hier fehlt es an nichts!) mit Essbereich sowie die sonnige Terrasse inkl. Garten für uns allein. Hier kann man auf Liegen entspannen oder in geselliger Runde den Abend in der Sitzgruppe ausklingen lassen. Die Lage des Objektes ist sehr ruhig, der Ort sehr klein aber mit dem Auto sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Sehenswürdigkeiten z.b. Schloß Schwerin gut zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber Fam. Frahm ist sehr herzlich und man fühlt sich sehr willkommen. Wir haben uns mit drei Generationen dort sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen sicher wieder. Noch einmal herzlichen Dank und bis zum nächsten Mal!
