About this property
Holiday house Letschin for 1 - 4 persons with 1 bedroom - Holiday home
ED Refnr. 2207449
This holiday cottage is located directly on the Oder-Neisse cycle path in Kienitz and awaits guests who want to relax for a short or longer period. Ideal for 2 people, it can accommodate up to 4 people. It was built in 2013, recently renovated in 2024 and has everything inside: comfortable double bed, large sofa bed in the living area, kitchenette with induction hob, grill, kettle, toaster... Sink with granite top, floor-level shower in the bright bathroom, TV, WLAN...outdoor grill and offers a beautiful open-plan bright living space. It is situated on a side road, which is only used by a neighbour and in the immediate vicinity of a stork's nest, where the young are reared in front of your eyes and the landlord's chickens, sheep and cats like to be stroked.
Deer and pheasants live in the wild but share the territory. The wide sky offers all the stars at night and sunsets and bird migration can be observed.
From here, the Oderbruch invites you to explore, as does Märkische Schweiz. Küstrin or Güstebiese are just a few kilometres away - and you're already in Poland. fishing is of course no problem here directly on the Oder. The Oder is as clean as it was before reunification, as the water levels are good and there is very little shipping. In Neuhardenberg or Gusow, Wulkow or Prötzel...we have many castles and gardens and open garden days in the Oderbruch. Nature with whooper swans, cranes, storks, herons, white-tailed eagles, cormorants... can be experienced in a different way at every time of year and matches the calm river. Bicycles and inline skates can be used and culture flourishes everywhere: The theatre on the edge is legendary, as are the Kunstloosen Tage in the Oderbruch and the many ceramics and sculpture/painting artists, and the villages organise oven festivals, harvest festivals, slaughter festivals, mill festivals and, in winter, the living Advent calendar in December. The Oderbruchhäuschen can be heated and the longest overnight stay so far has been 17 nights in a row. But even a stay of a week or a weekend lets almost every visitor switch off from the hustle and bustle and concrete. The Oder is a quiet, natural border river with groynes and foreshore and many animals. The living space is 55 square metres in total, as the sleeping area is located above the actual living area, and the living area is also wonderfully visible from there. There is a lot of natural wood (false ceiling, gable interior panelling, kitchenette, floor sleeping area, closed wooden staircase...) and green plants can also be found in the living room, so it is not only green outside, but also inside. non-smoking house, excursion possibilities: Güstebiese: Ferry, theatre on the edge, Neuhardenberg, Wulkow, Gusow: castle, Mallnow: home animal garden, Niederfinow: ship lift, Buckow: Brecht-Weigelhaus, Bienenwerder: Europe bridge for pedestrians and cyclists, place description: Kientz is a district of Letschin and is located directly on the Oder. The Oder-Neisse cycle path leads directly through the village on the Oder dyke. The cycle path church offers an open atrium with an apple tree, a photo gallery and a cosy interior with a small café, while the gallery café in the harbour mill in Kienitz nestles at the foot of the dyke and offers shady spots. In the village there is a real tank from the 2nd World War. other sports and leisure activities: skiing, canoeing, cycling, fishing, hiking, garden furniture are available in the outdoor area.
Covered terrace with barbecue, table and cantilever chairs, small front garden with flowers and trees, fenced.
