Yes. Your stay includes free towels, which you can use at the pools or to take to the local beaches. However, you will be assessed a $35 fee by the resort if you do not return the towels to the room.

Kauia Beach Resort's policy is to ensure a comfortable and pest-free environment for all our guests. As part of this commitment, we do not provide microwaves in ANY units. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

NO RESORT FEES


Guests renting directly from the resort or through retail travel sites pay a hefty DAILY resort fee in addition to a MUCH higher rental rate!. There is no daily resort fee with us!!!!; however, if you book directly from the hotel, they will charge an average of $250 daily rate for same kind of room plus daily resort fee.

Good location but OK property

We stayed for four days and enjoyed a bit. Location of the property is good and close to a major highway and attractions and is just 10-12 minutes from the Lihue airport. No microwave in the property due to regulations. OK for the price and they have nice swimming pools and hot tub also. Parking is 40/day which is pricey!

Overall great place to stay

This property is in a great location as long as you do not want to stay within walking distance off resort restaurants and stores. It is an older resort that is being renovated small sections at a time. Pools are great but lacking in chairs and loungers. We had a great stay and the main negative marks are that the front desk was not aware of our reservation and it took forever to check in.

Relaxing Getaway

The room was exactly as described and was well stocked. The use of the resort amenities was an added plus. The location is very nice and makes travel to the north and to the south and west very easy. The accommodations exceeded our expectations and we will be back!

Very beautiful and fun place to stay!

Definitely recommend staying here it’s a lot of fun! However there isn’t much close by walking distance so if you don’t have a car be prepared to have to Uber or a long walk to get to any type of shops.

Beautiful, Clean and Great Location!

I have absolutely no complaints about my stay! The hotel was spotless and the staff were incredibly friendly. The room itself was also very clean and I loved that the balcony overlooked the pool. I enjoyed that I could walk up to the beach lawn to watch the sunrise in the mornings and also the free yoga :) location was ideal for getting to travel to all parts of the island as well. Definitely recommend!

Great place to stay

We had a great time at this VRBO. Room was very comfortable and clean. No issues with checking in. The only minor issue was that parking lot was small and no available stalls, especially at night.

My wife and I were visiting Kauai to get together with family. We found our location to be very convenient to family who are close by in Lihue. Our unit was clean. Our host was very communicative and helpful. We had a nice view of the pool also. I would recommend and visit again.

Great 5 night stay

This place was in a great location, at at great rate. It was perfectly as described. Room was nice, maybe nicer than the rooms offered through the resort directly. No resort fee was nice. Of course, we didn’t get new towels every day, or our sheets changed like you would get with a traditional booking, but the host was a quick message away if needed. Luckily we didn’t need anything, and the items provided were sufficient.

Enjoyable, beautiful, clean!

Had a blast staying at this resort! Given the size of the island, the location of the resort is conveniently centralized to travel North (to Hanalei Bay), or Southwest (to Poipu) in a relatively short amount of time. Areas with lots of food options (Kapaa, Lihue, Wailua) are all within a 10-15 minute drive away. The resort staff were all very polite and friendly. The bar, restaurants, and pool were lovely. The room was nice and clean and well-stocked with everything we needed! The only thing that worth noting would be the external noises coming into the room (Guests talking from neighboring rooms, hallway noises, doors shutting, etc.). Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would absolutely come back!

Sheet we’re dirty, shower had hair in it. Property manager was difficult to reach and when I did she seemed bothered and defended that it was clean. I definitely saw hairs in both places that were not from us. Location is magnificent.

Was a Great Trip!!

Yes, the property could use some updating, but what property doesn't if it's not brand new... we have two very minor complaints.. 1. we could have used a microwave in the room.. 2. we did not understand that we were a "private" property, so when we needed more coffee and toilet paper, were told to call our private housekeeper.... When she showed up at the door, she seemed very perturbed that we couldn't get our own?? But other than that.. we had a Terrific Time!! and can't wait to go back!!

Great place!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this unit at the Kauai Beach Resort. The lanai (balcony) has a beautiful view of the pool area and resort grounds. The room is clean and spacious and the bed is big and comfortable. The resort itself is very nice. There are multiple pools and hot tubs (spas). The restaurant and lounge serve delicious food and drinks all day and the best part is they weren’t overly busy during our stay. The parking is easy and convenient but does cost $35 USD/day. The beach at the resort is not that nice and it’s not for swimming but it’s nice for walks. The location of the resort itself is convenient for traveling to the airport as well as all the different parts of the island. Kauai is beautiful and I would highly recommend staying in this unit and resort.

Beautiful Property!

My overall stay was pretty amazing, the property is gorgeous and well kept. The pools are fantastic and beach access is very easy. The only qualm was since this was listed through VRBO and my unit was "private" the hotel doesn't have much say or much information to give you. Check in isn't until 4pm and I had been camping for 4 days on the island prior so I was desperate for a shower. I called the number for the hotel and it was a call center that was unhelpful. So i went to the front desk and they just kept saying "you're unit is private" okay...what does that mean. So i contacted the host and he instructed me to ask the hotel....so just be prepared for that. But the property and the room were very nice and I enjoyed my stay.

Tired with a nice view

The location of the room in the hotel is good with a nice view. The unit needs to be refreshed and made more comfortable for renters. The furniture is old and worn out, nothing like the other rooms in this hotel. The mattress is old, soft, bath linens are marginal, no utensils, only one glass, old coffee pods and huge fridge (that is unnecessary) no microwave. The bathroom has only one small hook to hang towels which do not dry out. Missing drain cover in bathroom vanity sink, artwork missing but hooks remain. It seems that there has been no effort to upgrade this unit so that guest do not feel they are in a old, tired space. Be aware that the location of the hotel is a bit isolated, totally car dependent if you want to go shopping or dine out. The beach is not swimmable.

4 stars but we would stay again

Love the place- the location is perfect. Checking in was easy. The host was easy to get a hold of. The valet parking was wonderful! And included in the $35 a night parking fee. And the guys were so helpful with places to visit and eat. We would stay again and probably give 5 stars next time because we would have all the information. Such as there is not pull out sofa, as stated in the description- there is a single cot. There was only 1 blanket on the bed and one in the drawer. There were originally 3 of us. And a 4th showed up for 2 nights. Unfortunately one slept with no blanket and the other used a towel. When asked for another blanket and pillow I was told it would be brought the next day. The next day when I requested 2 more towels I was then told that the extra blanket would come with a charge. It was only a few nights so we just dealt with it. When housekeeping came to give us the towels she informed us it was only a change out. That we could not get any additional towels. Again that was fine we made it work. So just be aware. If you go knowing these things you will give this place 5 stars. Enjoy you’re time!
