Our comfortable 3BR/3BA house is located in the hip, historic neighborhood of East Nashville. This 1930’s bungalow has been recently remodeled, preserving many original features while providing modern day amenities. The heart pine hardwood floors throughout the majority of the house, claw foot tubs, and exposed brick reflect the home’s true character. An open floor plan with 10 foot ceilings and tasteful furnishings create an inviting place to relax and gather with friends or family. The kitchen offers modern appliances, an open bar area to the living room with leather couches and chair, and a flat screen television. Adjacent to the living room is a lovely dining room which seats six or more guests. Each of the three comfortable bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom with plenty of closet space. The spacious master bedroom has a standard queen bed, the second bedroom a standard full size bed, and the third bedroom an antique custom full size bed that's a little bit shorter. This home also has a laundry room. Why not fire up the charcoal grill while enjoying a glass of wine on the front porch or private fenced-in yard?

Good house and location

Older house but kept up well and very clean. Location is great, about 1/4 mile from football stadium and about a mile from Broadway Ave.

Long weekend in Nashville

House is older but was neat & tidy inside. Was nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. Not the best neighborhood. On a very busy street and heard sirens all of the time. Outside of property needs a lot of TLC. So much overgrown and furniture not clean, could not sit outside to have morning coffee. Needs a good spruce up. Location was close to downtown but far to walk and would not want to walk back at night.

Great Location for walking to Broadway

Excellent stay and the place is large enough for 3 couples and had all we needed and close enough to walk to Broadway, Bridgestone or to see the Titans.

Pleasant historic house.

We enjoyed our Nashville visit. The house had everything we needed. About 1.5 mile walk to downtown which wasn't too bad. We enjoyed the front porch in the evenings. We would stay there again.

Nashville fun

The neighborhood looks sketchy on first appearance but it turned out great! We loved the charm of the house and the closeness to downtown. We would definitely rent again!

Lovely stay

Check in was seamless and they even txt to say that we could check in early. The house had everything we needed. Short 20 min walk to down town or a 5$ Uber ride. No complaints!

Great house

Comfortable beds and enough seating for our group size. Large table and great room for parking! Affordable Uber rides to the area. Only reason it’s a 4 is because of the broken door handle in one bathroom, doors getting stuck @ times, and not enough laundry detergent/products/etc.

Cozy

Not exactly what I expected from the pictures but was ok. Front and back porches needed cleaned. Front door very hard to open and close. Location was ok. Lots of police presence though. For the little time we spent there it was good

Old place. Pictures are filtered for sure. We actually debated leaving but stayed because of the price we had already paid. You are a few blocks from the projects. You will encounter homeless also. One of our Uber drivers is a Nashville native and told us we should not stay on Shelby and especially where the house is. We were informed not to go outside at dark. It was a little scary for sure. We did not feel safe. However, it was nice to have a bathroom for all 3 bedrooms. Not the cleanest place for sure. Another visitor had mentioned they are stingy on giving you supplies and they really were. No coffee. No tea. No creamer or anything. Yard is a complete mess. You must enter by back deck which is full of mosquitos. Plan on getting bit multiple times. Will never stay at this house again.

Great location perfect for 3 couples

Great location and a short walk to broadway or $10 Uber ride. Convenient to have 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms as we were 3 couples. Easy to get to with vehicle parking at the back of the property. Plumbing could use an update as when you shower your toilet bubbled/wouldn't flush. Had some additional plumbing issues but local property management was quick to address the problems.

Great little house near the city!

House was great - love having a bathroom for each room and plenty of closet/storage space! Couches & chair in the living room were super comfy (and gorgeous). Unfortunately the beds were not super comfy. Loved the porch swing - that was great, felt very sturdy and was very nice to have! Location was good - close to the city (everything we wanted to go to was 20 minutes or less). However, on a busy street so be prepared for street noise (lots of cars driving, occasional sirens). Also train noises. Basically city living, just be aware.

Just what we needed

This place was exactly what we needed. Perfect sitting room and kitchen and three bedrooms with full bath. It was clean and super cute. Just like the pictures (which doesn't alwasy seem to be the case on these). I missed or it wasn't mentioned that the lock is on the back door and that is where the Ubers tended to pick us up. Decent communication with owner/manager - texting seemed automated at the start of a conversation which I don't like but it was fine. Very responsive.

Okay but

One bed was super hard and the other had a valley you'd have to climb out of to get to the center of the bed. Got locked in the bathroom by the kitchen so the knob needs some work. Outside is rotting away and needs a ton of work. With all that, it was still a cute place close to downtown.

Nice but…

It is an older home that while it has a lot of charm and is nicely decorated, is probably not the best for some older adults. Lots of changes in floor levels and the claw bath tubs in 2 of the bedrooms are challenging to use. Otherwise functional and clean (the bathroom floor in the bath off of the kitchen was not very clean. The location was nice but unfortunately not easily walkable to the downtown area due to construction.

Comfortable

Probably was well maintained with exception of gate which was falling apart House was clean and comfortable. Nice to have a bathroom in each room. I didn’t receive email with code to get into house. Had to call when I arrived in order to get in. Listing was up to date with exception of coffee maker. I’d actually contacted to make sure the type of coffee maker available so I could have coffee the first morning. Was told normal coffee maker not pod. Arrival proved it was pop so had to go to grocery store late at night to get coffee pods. They did bring reg coffee pot two days after checking.

Good… but not excellent

The decision to rent this property was primarily based on it’s close proximity to Nissan Stadium coupled with the fact it has three beds/three baths, is categorized as a Premier Host and has several “excellent reviews”.The good: Spacious, convenient location and is indeed in walking distance to Nissan Stadium and downtown. On-site parking. The reality: The price is extremely reasonable and aligns exactly with what you get. This is an old home located on a busy street and with that comes A LOT of noise. The window panes are thin and drafty and the fixtures are aged. There are four points of entry to this home, which can be a little unsettling for a family with children. The home does seem to have a security system, but there were no notes on how to operate or activate and it didn’t look operational. One of the three beds is so broken down it’s close to being unusable. The other two are ok. If you are traveling with friends for fun or are young and don’t need much sleep but need the space this place is for you. If you are traveling with children or are looking for a restful stay, I would not recommend this property.

Unfortunate issues

Very close to Nissan Stadium maybe a mile max. Close to downtown as well. House was great except it took us hours to get into the house upon arrival. I called to tell them the keypad lock wasn't working and they spoke to me like I was a child who has never unlocked a door before. They kept giving me different codes and none of them worked. Eventually they gave us a code to the key box and used it to manually get in. After driving all day the last thing I wanted to do was be on the phone for hours trying to get into a house I paid to stay at, especially when they could have just gave me the lock box code with the house key in it. Instead they wasted hours of my vacation and then sent someone to fix the problem a day later.
