We wanted to design a place that we would be thrilled to stay at. So what did we do?

How about the Privacy Gate for the driveway entrance and completely fenced in yard? Privacy, security, and seclusion. No more worrying about your kids playing in the front yard, and having to watch cars go back and forth in front of your house. The mature trees make for great natural views as well.

Speaking of "kids playing", we wanted to make this really fun for kids. So what did we do? We added a dedicated Playroom inside with several built-in, fun activities. It also has a custom, lockable baby gate. And if they want to have fun outside? No problem! There is a HotWheels Car Thrill Ride in the Yard, and a child-safe dart board on the porch, and a commercial quality playground/swing-set.

Ok enough with the kids, how about the adults? Outdoors you have the brand new 5-Person Hot Tub, Hammock Chair, Swing Chair, Gas Grill, and Gas Firepit. We also have a Wet Sauna (Steam shower -- look it up, they are awesome!) which is an amazing experience and a very healthy practice.

What about indoors? We have TV's in every room (free Netflix), including a large one overlooking the Bar Area which makes for a neat vibe. And if you want a more theatrical experience, turn off the lights and recline on the Leather Couch and let the Projector TV beam onto the big white wall.

Let's focus on more practical stuff. The Coffee Bar is beautifully rustic. Whoever gets the King Bedroom also gets the amazing Purple Mattress®. Each Room has a desk area for work... or it can be for applying make-up since we also put a hairdryer and a mirror next to it in the King and Queen Bedrooms.

I hope that you can see by now that we are excited about providing an awesome vacation rental experience at The Rustic Rest. We worked hard to give you fun things to do here, so that you would not have to leave your rental property just to go have all your fun and memories somewhere else. (I hate "BoringBNB's.")

But, we do understand if you want to hit the beach at least once. That's why we also provide some Beach Chairs, Body Boards and Beach Towels. Also, be sure to check out Riverbend Park just a few minutes up the road. It's super convenient to rent kayaks/canoes from them and push off into beautiful nature settings, or just have a picnic and there's a good chance you will see some deer.

Rooms -

1. Bedroom 1 has a King Bed with a Purple Mattress®, 55 inch TV, closet, desk, and mirror.

2. Bedroom 2 has a Queen Bed, 55 inch TV, closet, desk, and mirror.

3. Bedroom 3 has a bunk-bed with a pull-out trundle bed underneath, 32 inch TV, small dresser, and closet.

4. Kitchen is stocked with the essentials and has a toaster, toaster oven, microwave, blender, coffee bar w/ Keurig® machine, and a 50 inch TV w/soundbar above the Fridge overlooking the bar area.

5. Beside the bar area, we have a small dining area with a pop-up table next to the bar (in case someone doesn't want to sit on a barstool.)

6. Living Room has a brand new Leather Couch with recline. It faces a wall that can be used with the Roku® Projector TV for a large screen viewing experience. There is room in living room for a queen air mattress and also a twin air mattress (both on request.)

7. Our playroom can be locked if needed (custom baby-gate), and offers several activities: Tv, Interactive Mat with play cars, and a Erasable Marker Board (to be used with adult supervision only), and a Lego Wall activity. There is also a small table with 2 chairs and 2 comfy bean bag chairs. The playroom is visible from the kitchen (yes, we know parent life).

8. Laundry Room has a stackable washer/dryer, shelving, and ironing board w/iron.

9. Our Wet Sauna is located left and around the corner of the hot tub area and is a full bathroom with the additional of a steam generator. These are a luxury bathroom option and have many health benefits of use.

10. Our outdoor covered porch area has multiple seating options, a gas fire pit, ping pong table, large grill, and a swing seat. The Hot Tub is located on this porch as well but is in its own area to the right of the front door. Our Hot Tub is brand new (2020) so there is little chance of having a mechanical maintenance issue during your booking, as opposed to other places that have older hot tubs, since they break down frequently with age and use.

11. In the Yard area, there is a fun Hot Wheels Coaster Ride that small children enjoy, and a playground/swing-set.

Please contact us regarding sleeping arrangements if your group is cutting it close with bed count. A top bunk of a bunk bed is not really designed for adults, and we have a nice, queen and twin air-mattresses if needed (on request.)
