About this property

Gîte des Petites Pyrénées

This detached house has been designed as a true haven for two. Independent and surrounded by a large private garden, it guarantees peace, privacy, and complete freedom. On the covered terrace, extend your evenings while enjoying the breathtaking panorama of the Pyrenees, bathed in light at sunrise and sunset. The outdoor jacuzzi promises moments of absolute relaxation, summer and winter alike. Important: the spa will only be available for rentals of at least 7 days, for environmental reasons. You can also relax by the pond, filled with natural plants, watch the fish, and listen to the frogs croaking. Inside, the warm, Madagascar-inspired décor reflects the owner's wanderlust. The woodwork was crafted from walnut wood from the garden, giving each room a unique character and a story to tell. Single-story cottage: living room (fully equipped kitchen, pantry, dining area, and lounge), bedroom (1 double bed 140*190cm), and shower room/WC. Reversible air conditioning in the living room, heated towel rail in the shower room, and electric radiator in the bedroom. 7 ideas for outings around Ausseing: in the village, discover the Orrys (dry-stone shepherd's huts); less than 15 minutes away, stroll through the pottery town of Martres-Tolosane, renowned for its arts and crafts and charming narrow streets. A greenway runs from Mazères-sur-Salat, 5km away, to Foix. Discover the medieval character of Rieux-Volvestre and its cathedral, nestled on the banks of the Arize River. Escape for a day to Saint-Bertrand-de-Comminges, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, to admire its cathedral and panoramic mountain views. Treat yourself to a wellness break at the Salies-du-Salat thermal baths, renowned for their natural salt waters. For safety reasons, the accommodation is not suitable for children under 12 years old (pool). In Ausseing, in the heart of the unspoiled countryside of Haute-Garonne, this detached, single-story cottage for two offers spectacular views of the Pyrenees mountain range and a rare eco-friendly setting, complete with a bountiful vegetable garden, natural pond, and solar energy. A private jacuzzi is available for stays of 7 nights or more.
