My house is elegant, charming. It has a soul!
Its, era, of the 16th century, its past, former presbytery, carefully renovated to mix the old and the contemporary, with an emphasis on comfort, but also what I brought there It is in this house, which, when I am not renting it, that I am not travelling, I stay there to write.
With a surface area of 90 M2, fully equipped for people with reduced mobility, it offers a large living room-kitchen with a huge wood stove, two large spacious bedrooms with two large beds in 180, a garden (currently being developed but which will be perfect from mid-spring)
I have made this place a practical, comfortable place open to dreams, daydreams, to watch the flames dance, with a good glass of wine and a good table. Because I love to entertain above all else. Even if I'm not here, it's still the place I thought of to feel good.
My house is full of memories of my life that keep filling up. It's my refuge, my lighthouse.
My house is totally adapted for people with reduced mobility, in a wheelchair, from the parking space of the car park, the driveway, the garden, the entrance, the corridor, an entrance to one of the two bedrooms, the bathroom totally PRM, and the living room, kitchen dining room. There is no function, no floor. And it has been well thought out.
It is nestled in the heart of a small historic village, on the coast of Trégor, Tréguier, between land and sea, with access to all shops on foot, surrounded by good addresses to eat, relax, and sites to visit. Very well located, 200 metres from the cathedral, the estuary, 10 km from the most beautiful beaches of the Côtes d'Armor, on a land rich in culture, history, and gastronomy.
All shops are nearby, whether small shopkeepers, supermarkets, for all tastes, for all budgets!

What makes the environment unique is that my region is at the crossroads of all the cultures of the world, between tradition, marine atmosphere...
Every year, from spring to the end of summer, Brittany is transformed into a giant stage to celebrate its Celtic and maritime soul.
Just ask me, and I will tell you, depending on your coming, what you want to do there, what is happening around you, big or intimate, in the crowd or far from the paths...
In Brittany, its inhabitants, whether it is an excuse for music, entertainment, gastronomy, the Bretons like to get together, bell-ringers, dancers and lovers of their land and this mix of tradition and culture of our time.
Pilgrims, travellers in search of spirituality, simply curious or hikers, passionate about the sea, land or good restaurants, old stones, music... Everyone will be able to really sit down and discover, according to their desires...
Here are some ideas around my home:
Of course there are the most beautiful beaches of the Côtes d'Armor, coastal paths. The sea is good in summer. And all the water activities are nearby, whether it's just sunbathing, swimming, but also sailing, surfing, kite-surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking (an international sport at La Roche Derrien) diving. Trestel Beach, Port Blanc, Tresmeur Beach...
For lovers of typical villages, old stones, there is of course Tréguier, but also Pontrieux, La Roche Derrien.
For nature lovers, there are the 7 islands, with its ornithological reserves, but also the island of Bréhat which is a must (passing through Paimpol, the port of Glénans and the real sailors)
There are sumptuous gardens, such as the one in the garden of Kerdalo...
There is also the river Léguer which crosses our territory... It is one of the most beautiful wild rivers in Europe. You can go down it by kayak. But I recommend doing it with an experienced guide. Because it is very tricky in some places, even very difficult in some places. But you can go and discover it with a guide on portions adapted to everyone.
Speaking of rivers, there is fishing!
So I love fishing on foot during the high tides. Outside of summer, many places are 100% sure not to come back empty-handed! Even I catch abalone, crabs, spider crabs, scallops... and even a lobster once! Not to mention for the little ones, the pleasure of wading and for them also to collect good things!
There is a steam train that runs connecting Guingamp, Paimpol which passes through the valley of the Roche Jagu (castle to really visit as much for its history, as the décor of its gardens on the hillside...)
Finally, for lovers of gatherings, there is no shortage of them!Whether it's music festivals, from early spring to late summer, Breton festivals, but also old sailing festivals.
There are food festivals.... Whether it's the scallop festival, the cod festival, the Ti cochon, galette and pancake evenings....
Speaking of good food: good restaurants, or good restaurants, abound. You just have to tell me what you like, and I'll find you the right addresses.
And for those who like to prepare meals, there are farms that are at the same price as the supermarkets and that offer cheeses, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, dairy products, of excellent taste quality.
For night lovers, there is a lot of sound and light on dates planned in advance, with good pints of beer!
For those who like cycling (it's steep towards my house) but also hikers, the surroundings are full of paths along the coast.
And so on!
I think, between my house and its walls more than a metre thick, which keep the heat in winter and the coolness in summer, its haven of peace, surrounded only by beautiful things outside as much for the beauty of the eyes, the taste buds, the sounds, the sea air... And a good guide like me, even from a distance, you can only keep a memory that is engraved forever ...
So come and take the step of my house. Because it's not just the house, it's its host who welcomes you there...
As you can see, I love books...
I'll leave you with these novels, essays, art stories and life stories, which I care about.
Take care!
And more than anything: avoid touching film props. They are there for the eyes.
Thank you in advance!
Come on. Maybe see you soon!
