It also provides 2 separate living rooms for everyone to spread out. Both provide convertible sofas for additional sleeping accommodations. During the eclipse 2024 my wife and me stayed for an extended weekend. Arriving Saturday, leaving Tuesday. The 2 bathroom / 2 bedroom unit is located over 2 floors and was too large for just the two of us - but we like our space ;o) . The house is located close to the town center with many small shops and several bar/restaurant locations, estimated about 5 minutes walk. The city park is on the way to the main street, app. 3 minutes walk. There is a very, very nice larger park (Mead Park) which is superbly maintained, clean and has many, many opportunities for BBQ-ing as well as childrens playgrounds and a dog park - plus a fishing pond, limited to 'under 16 years old'. We loved the park. The house itself is at a low traffic road, very quiet setting with free parking directly at the house. The hosts do operate a locate bar/restaurant (with occasional life music) and are very friendly and supportive. In general, we were suprised with the level of welcoming and friendliness that every single person whom we met displayed, whether it was a shop assistant in a local supermarket or other customers in the same supermarket or parents we met in the Mead park or...just everybody. All in all, we definitely intend to come back and explore the area in more depth. When we do this, this property is definitely one that we will check out as accommodation.
