3-room apartment w. a beautiful south-west facing balcony, swimming pool, sauna

You are warmly welcome to my quiet, non-smoking holiday apartment, lovingly and tastefully furnished in a cosy rural style, featuring a south-west-facing balcony with unobstructed mountain views. The on-site swimming pool and sauna make your stay truly perfect.

The apartment is individually designed and furnished in a warm, traditional country style. It offers a living room in warm wooden tones (with a double sofa bed), a bedroom, a children’s room with one bed, a kitchen, hallway, bathroom/WC, and a balcony. Books, games and hiking maps are available for guests. All rooms are supplied with 100% green electricity. In the same building you will also find Apartment Gerling II (FEWO 2728931) and Apartment Gerling III (FEWO 2729057).

The kitchen is new and fully equipped, of course including a coffee machine, toaster, kettle, all necessary cooking utensils, and plenty of tableware and cookware. It features a (4-star) tall refrigerator with freezer compartment, a ceramic hob, oven, and microwave.
Please note: Apartment Gerling I does not have a dishwasher.

The bathroom is equipped with underfloor heating, a bathtub, hairdryer, and a magnifying cosmetic mirror.

The balcony is furnished with outdoor furniture, a parasol, and sun loungers.

Bed linen and towels are NOT included in the rental price, but can be added manually for a fee of €20 per person per stay.

The on-site swimming pool, located in the basement, measures 10.5 m in length and 4.5 m in width and has a water temperature of 28°C; its use is free of charge. The sauna, coin-operated washing machine, and tumble dryer are available for an additional fee. A ski and bicycle storage room is also located in the basement. Sledges and a children’s high chair are provided free of charge.
The residential complex offers a large parking area.

The bus and ski bus stop (e.g. to Oberstdorf, Fischen and the Grasgehren ski area) is located directly in front of the complex. The local ski area Grasgehren, including a fun park for beginners, can be reached in 12 minutes by bus. Advanced skiers can travel one stop further to Balderschwang for black runs.

The “Haus des Gastes”, spa park with Kneipp facilities, mini-golf course, and excellent restaurants are just a few minutes’ walk away. Access to the cross-country ski trail and the local “Idealhang” ski lift is only a few steps from the apartment. Sturmannshöhle cave is within sight and can be reached after a short walk. The famous Breitachklamm gorge is located in the neighbouring village of Tiefenbach.

Obermaiselstein is a charming family-friendly village and is easily accessible by car, German Rail, or coach. For guests arriving by train, the nearest station is Fischen, just 3 km away. Under “Directions” you will find detailed information on how to reach us by car, train, or bus.
