The day of our trip we were contacted by the property manager who told us we would not be able to access the garage. We were later contacted by her assistant to arrange escorting us to the unit. We had to wait 30 minutes once we got to property.
The hallways of the complex reeked of pot, as well as the unit. Once we walked inside I could immediately tell the apartment had not been properly cleaned. There were dirty dish towels left in kitchen, dirt countertops and table, sticky syrup residue on livingroom tables, dishes left in dishwasher, spilled detergent on top of washing machine, etc. We contacted the assistant who agreed to give us a full refund of we decided the unit was too dirty to stay in. After noticing how dirty the bottom of my feet were after walking barefoot in the apartment for 10 minutes we decided to cancel our stay and had to find a hotel room. On top of the apartment being dirty and smelling bad there were no toiletries, iron or ironing board provided.
The assistant agreed to issue a full refund. Wr contacted the property manager to let them know of the issues and we would be leaving and expecting a refund and we never heard back. We have now had to file a complaint with BBB and gone through our bank to dispute the charge.
