Abundant space

Although we were a small group of three, there were plenty of beds and space for many more people. Easy access to large backyard with a pool. We would rent this property again.

Get away

We were looking forward to being in the pool and or hot tub, the hot tub is run down and wasn’t working at all and if you stepped on the stairs, you would have fallen, the aren’t attached to anything. The floors were dirty you could feel it on your feet if you were barefoot. The counters were not cleaned and there was no dish towels for the kitchen.they left a gross sponge for us to use to clean the dishes. Then the pool guy shows up unannounced when we had dogs.

The house was nice. It could have been cleaner, but to be fair, one of the guests cleans houses, so she was a little critical. It was not stocked well, 3 rolls of toilet paper for 8 people for 5 days didn't work. There was only a few pieces of silver ware, although there was plastic. We would have preferred to wash the silver ware rather than throw away plastic. One last thing, the hot tub wasn't clean so we never used it, the pool was clean so we did swim. The power went out twice (not his fault) and he was very quick to get someone to look at it. The 1st time was a transformer and the 2nd time a storm. I would go back again, I just think it could have had some more attention.

Would not recommend!! The overall energy of this place was horrible. The light’s in the kitchen did not work so if you were cooking you could not see, the lights that were over by the refrigerator were like interrogation spotlights, the front window had shear curtains for all to see in at night , no privacy and the area was rough! Was not a good fit for our taste. Pictures online are deceiving.

House was cleanManagement doesn't give keys to all doors in the house which lead to use getting locked out by using the garage door with the extra deadbolt locked on the front door.Toilet seat was broken in one bathroom so we went without for a day while waiting for maintenance to replace it. Hot tub was listed and on site but not operational or clean.

The house looks nothing like the pictures. The kitchen sink water pressure is a joke. The lights in the kitchen and on the microwave do not work, meaning you can’t see what your doing at the stove. The ice maker on the fridge does not work. The front bathroom toilet seat was broken, completely rusted off, so we only had one toilet to use. There’s a huge jagged crack in the pool, still usable, just not pictured in listing. My group did not wish to use the hot tub but if you are interested in it, it’s completely run down on the outside and inside, again looking nothing like the pictures. Multiple water hoses were strung out all over the backyard. The inside and outside doors barely stayed shut, most of the inside doors do not lock. Lastly, we arrived to an un mowed lawn. The grass was tallllllll. I asked and was reassured multiple times on multiple days by the owner that the lawn would be mowed. The lawn never got mowed. Were all these inconvenient? Yes. Did we get over them? Yes. Did we still enjoy our stay? Yes. Just wanted to leave an honest review to give someone else a heads up.

It is a roomy house. The pictures are pretty accurate. The kitchen was roomy for multiple guests. There were lights that did not work. Coffe pot still has grounds in it and was dirty. I did not get check-in info ahead of arrival; I had to to ask for it (code for door). A broom and dustpan would have been helpful. Tree debris all around the pool. It made it difficult to move around. There were loads of towels which helped. I liked that there were two washers and dryers. Did not find ironing board until check out. It was hidden in the wall of middle bedroom. I liked having Garage access to the 2-car garage space. The beds were not very comfortable. Master bed was squishy and noisy. The other guests said beds were just not enough cushioning. The hot tub was dirty and smelled. Then only working part time. It kept tripping the breaker. The grass was not mowed and too high to do corn hole. There was a pool sifter and plenty of chairs, which we appreciated. The chairs had metal which is too hot in high heat (they have to stay in shade). The pool accessories were not in good shape. The pool had many cracks and issues. We liked the nice side-by- side fridge and roomy dining table. The kitchen bar was unique with hidden trash and lid part of the bar. There was a full trash bag sitting at the curb upon arrival. The couches were comfy. The TV remote battery cover was semi taped on and kept coming apart. The master room has two massive walk in closets. No bathroom door for privacy in mast

Large houses, had plenty of essentials for everyone. The house has a double washer dryer set which made it extremely easy to handle a large group. The neighborhood was quiet and had plenty of restaurants and shopping close by.The pool was clean and the backyard was a nice area for the family to gather

Our family with four kids drove 14 hours from Chicago to vacation near Dallas. We were really looking forward to this rental with a pool and hot tub. Place was dirty and un-tidy from the outside. Getting the key was easy enough, though a digital combination lock would be best instead of a lock box with a key, for security purposes. Doors to the outside were all janky and locks hardly worked and doors hardly closed. There were wire locks on top of the patio and master patio doors, but the master wire lock was cut... appeared that perhaps someone broke in and cut the wire to gain access. We did not feel safe here. The patio and pool were a mess with dirt and leaves. The grass was not cut and was long. The hot tub was a joke. It's falling apart and was dirty. Did not look like the photos. The bedrooms had decent beds, but the windows were covered with tacks and bed sheets. The attached shudders didn't allow any light into the rooms. The smoke alarms were all removed from the walls and stuffed into a kitchen drawer with batteries all removed. The tv remotes we all missing batteries, and a couple tv's were missing power cords. There were no hangers for our clothing and no dresses. Not sure where 6 people were supposed to put their clothes for 9 days. We messaged the host, who did get back in a reasonable time, but offered no solution. The janky doors and no smoke alarms or CO detectors was our final straw. We called VRBO and got all our money back. Do not recommend staying here.

This home was so lovely. It was very clean, had all the amenities needed for a long weekend stay. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Their air conditioning worked great, there are ceiling fans in all of the rooms. My family and I really enjoyed this house, we will definitely book here again. Thank you.

Modern Home stay

Had an amazing time staying at this property. The rooms were spacious as well as the living space. Kids have so much fun in the pool while we grilled. Definitely visiting again.

Misleading listing and difficult host

Property: The listing noted having a pool and hot tub, but both were not usable due to cleanliness issues (algae and insect infestations) as well as mechanical issues with the hot tub. There were several safety code issues with the garage as well as dead roaches. House had multiple deadbolt locks but keys were only provided for 1 of the locks on the front door which led to us being locked out by leaving through the garage. Host: No instructions or property information were provided which created many issues. Host was responsive but failed to take accountability for his own negligence in misplacing his master keys requiring a locksmith to be needed and refusing to pay for the service.

Misleading

The images from the listing are a lie. The hot tub had a hole in the side and dirty water. The backyard was overgrown, and the inside, while relatively clean, was not what was shown in the listing. Also the sink in the master bedroom was broken when I arrived, and the gas grill had been used as a charcoal grill and was thus unusable. The homeowner also filed a claim against me through the required home insurance claiming I had caused damage requiring a cleaning. I did not enter the hot tub during my stay because of its condition. I provide photographs below please compare to the images you are shown of the property.

Guys Retreat

This property was perfect for my friends and me to have a bit of a getaway while still being in the area, hangout and stay up late, and just have plenty of space to connect with each other.

Not what was expected

Toilet seat broken, no tvs hooked up, no remotes had batteries, yellow jackets living in the cracks in the pool, air fryer handle broken off, could not get the oven to work at all! Manager never got back with us about the oven.

Good Experience

We were pleased with the property. We were 6 adults and 5 children ages 6 to 14. We enjoyed the pool and the space. Nice location in suburban street. We had one or two questions and the owner was very responsive. As other reviewers have said, kitchen supplies are a bit sparse. Also, it could stand to have a curtain on the doorway of the bathroom of the master bedroom.

Needs a little work

We came here with my Dad, sister, husband, and 3 year old. The location was perfect for everything we had on our list to do. The host was very prompt and responsive to our needs. It had great hot water and good toilets. There is some work that needs to be done at the house. The master bed has a big dip in the middle so you just sink into it. The master faucet is so loose that it just lifts right up. Thankfully the master has another sink to use. The room with the bunk beds was hard to sleep in. The air didn’t really circulate too well, and the beds were very hard to sleep on. The small white bunk bed actually had a broken railing to the top ladder with a very sharp piece of metal poking up which was hard to keep my 3 year old from wanting to climb the ladder. There was a coffee maker and the bare essentials for the kitchen, however with 4 adults and a child, there were only 2 coffee cups, and limited silverware. Overall we enjoyed our trip and loved the location is was close to get to Fort Worth and Dallas.
