About this property

Charming Highlands Carriage House 2 beds/2bath NO POOL

The location of our Carriage House is perfect. It is private apartment on our property (guest house) in a beautiful quite neighborhood. However, we are in the one of the most sought out places in Louisville called the "Highlands" We are walking distance to many great restaurants, coffee shops, cute little shops and breweries. We are walking distance to Bellarmine college, parks and even the Zoo. However, we are the perfect distance away from the noise and nightlife that comes with Bardstown Rd. We are in the best of both worlds. We are 5 to 7 mins from the airport and the convention center and about 10 mins from the YUM center, Churchill Downs and downtown. Perfect place to stay for a family or anyone looking to be close to everything but yet feel safe.
I apologize but Please note we do NOT have a Pool for guests. I have tried for a month to get VRBO to correct this and they can't seem to do so. Thank you so much!!! However, there are several public pools and great splashpads near by. The zoo is walking distance with a wonderful splash pad.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Put towels and washcloths in washing machine.
Turn up the air to 75 or heat to 67.
Turn off all lights if moved furniture put back the way you found it.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
NO SMOKING OR VAPING ON THE PROPERTY INSIDE OR OUT. IF THIS OCCURS THE DEPOSIT WILL BE FORFEITED. Please keep windows closed .
NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS and the guests you booked should match the guests that show up . Please notify host of changes in guests or any visitors.
PARK ON STREET IN FRONT OF OUR HOUSE. WE DO NOT WANT TO INCONVIENCE OUR NEIGHBORS. YOU CAN USE DRIVEWAY TO LOAD AND UNLOAD BUT NOTIFY US FIRST.

The Highland Carriage House is exactly that...a lovely place on the property of the owner.The house was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed for my stay. The location was great as I was there for Bellarmine baseball.

The property was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. If you're in Louisville and you just need a homebase to sleep and you don't like hotels, this is perfect. When we had some extra time, we walked around the quiet neighborhood. We found a great coffee shop and there are all sorts of cool shops/restaurants nearby. I would definitely recommend it.
