“U nostru nidu” occupies the first two levels of a large old house in the heart of the village of Oletta, while enjoying an extensive view of the Nebbiu mountains and Lake Padula from the balcony and terrace.
Oletta, the “Pearl of Nebbiu”, is only 15 minutes from Saint-Florent, with its beaches and seaside activities, but is far enough away to keep its tranquility.
It benefits from an ideal location for visiting the villages of Nebbiu, the beautiful town of Bastia and its cultural activities, Cap-Corse, or Balagne (Ostriconi beach is 1 hour away, L'Ile-Rousse 1 hour 15 minutes, via the magnificent Desert of Agriates). Central Corsica and Corte are also a 1 hour 15 minute drive away. We acquired this duplex apartment for our own use and not for a rental investment; While waiting to be able to occupy it year-round, we would like to make it available to other lovers of Corsica, looking for a true experience of disconnecting and discovering the life of a Corsican village that has managed to preserve its soul and authenticity. We are furnishing our "little nest" with an eco-responsible approach, in order to offer ourselves/you all the necessary comforts without any unnecessary extras. Thus, all the household appliances are new and energy-efficient, but since 4G works very well, you will not find Wi-Fi or a TV in the apartment, but you will have board games and books available for any bad weather days. The furniture and dishes are vintage finds, in order to respect the spirit of this 1880s house and to prioritise reuse over buying new furniture. Standardised. A reversible air conditioning unit was installed in June 2025, making the apartment habitable year-round. The centre of Oletta only has two streets open to vehicles, and our apartment overlooks a stepped street, which unfortunately makes it unsuitable for people with reduced mobility and strollers. However, you are guaranteed not to be disturbed by traffic noise! ​​For parking, you can use the various free public car parks (between 5 and 10 minutes away).
