Wonderful Stay

The view was stunning. Opening the doors in the living room and bedroom and hearing the waves was amazing. The condo was clean. The kitchen was stocked with the basic needs. We will definitely be back.

Everything was wonderful. Right on the beach. Pools for when you just wanted to relax without the hassle of going to the beach. Clean rooms and communication was super easy. Highly recommend!

Nice condo, but disappointing!

Condo was great, clean and roomy. Kitchen was newer. However, only one of the three elevators worked two of the three days we were there. With the number of people at the resort, we had to carry up everything we took up 5 floors in 90+ degree temps.

Great location; property needs work

We were disappointed in some of the amenities at the condo and unit itself. First, the code they sent to unlock the unit door did not work, and it took 30 minutes to get ahold of someone who could give us a code that did work. The Bahama Sands had some things no in working order, that had been advertised as part of the unit. The indoor pool was empty and not in use. The lazy river was a gross green color - clearly not clean or safe to use. As for the unit, it took superhuman strength to open the sliding door to go out onto the porch. The coffee table had one leg that kept breaking off. The kitchen was poorly stocked. We had to ask neighbors to borrow a can opener. The fans in the bathroom did not work, and one of the bathroom doors did not lock. We did not reach out to management about any of these things, as we were only staying for the long weekend, and we did not think it was worth dealing with (aside from having to call to just get in upon arrival). As for pros, the location was great. The beach wasn't too packed. The view from the balcony was wonderful. We spent most of our time at the beach, so the issues we had with the unit were minor since we certainly weren't stuck inside the whole time. The pool and two hot tubs were very nice.

Almost a great stay!

Perfect location for a more isolated and less crowded part of the beach. Quiet area. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. Perfect size for big families or friends. Beds were comfortable. The view was perfect and very relaxing.

Issues

Tv came on but no channels in rooms, Ice Maker was slow, water dripping from ceiling vents, bathtub in king room drained extremely slow, the patio door was extremely hard to open and close, there was a cracked wine glass in cabinet, the toilet didn’t work in the hall, my room wasn’t ready still after 4. My code didn’t work for door entry. No carts for luggage… so yes it was not the best experience for me and my family.

Perfect beach getaway

This was the perfect place for a beach getaway. The condo was clean and well taken care of. It was close to the beach and to bars and restaurants. Perfect for a quick girls trip or fun getaway. I would definitely stay here again

Not what I expected

Every year sometimes twice a year we stay in NMB. I usually book through Vacasa because it's convenient and have NEVER had a problem with any of their properties here or anywhere else. We usually stay at the Bay Watch but decided to try the Bahama Sands. The room was comfortable but there were no sheets for the sofa bed, no can opener, no pot holders, not even a dish rag. The front office was across the street which was a little strange but I hated having to keep going across the street for things we needed because they never answered the phone. I wish I had known beforehand the pools and spas were not heated, the lazy river was closed , and the indoor pool was closed prior to coming to the hotel seeing as how it rained for like 3 days of our trip. Beach access was wonky if you had a stroller/wheelchair. Oh and the door to the balcony was stuck/off track and it was hard to access it. There was a table in our room held together with tape. The Bahama Sands left all the sand in my suit. I will never book here again. Taking my crew back to Bay Watch next time. Oh and the passcode was wrong for us checking in so we had to wait to actually get in the room upon arrival. But I'm still giving 3.5 stars because the room was at least cool and comfy.
