Beautiful and secluded

We loved how remote this place is. There were only a couple small oddities. The freezer section of the mini fridge needs a thaw and there wasn't a big pot for us to cook mac and cheese. Everything else was amazing and we both plan to return in the future.

North woods gem

The resort is tucked away on a cute lake. The lodge is nice needs a little updating but the game room and beach were great. Rooms were large and clean great views. Bob the owner was great.

Beautiful and peaceful

My daughter and I stayed here for two nights. The owners were so friendly and responded as soon as I needed anything. The view was absolutely stunning. It was a cozy room with everything we needed for a great price. Such a great place to get away from the stresses of the normal routine and just relax. We will definitely be coming back!

The view was amazing looking out over the lake with a beautiful sunset. Sound of the loons was relaxing. Those get the high marks. Unfortunately, the carpet in the room was pet stained and not swept well as there were dead bugs found. The return vents and floor fan were filthy and the crank on a window broken. Ironically, the sofa was not a sleeper so kids slept on the floor, but I found a sofa sleeper in the game room! Understaffed and in need of repairs and refurbishing.

Great Lake and up north stay

The accommodations in the “Eagles Nest” were perfectly fine for our 2 night stay. If we go again we would try to get one of the cabins for a more secluded stay as they are a little bit away from the lodge vs staying in the lodges. Overall the property and room were very quiet, the owners were very nice and it was perfect for seeing the Black Bears in Orr, MN.

Wish I could of stayed longer

The location is amazing out in the middle of nowhere. Just be prepared to get what you want before you come out. The hosts are great and helpful. They will get you whatever you need you make your stay comfortable. Recommend renting the pontoon for a day and just tooling around the lake.

Perfect getaway

Perfect getaway. We enjoyed the property, the lodge, the other guests. Room was perfect and clean. Watched a storm go across the lake from the front windows. The grounds are peaceful. Had a campfire going one night. Great place for kids, lots to keep them entertained with out all the electronics. We needed to get completely away from the chaos of life and this was a perfect place. The owners and employees are truly hard working, caring and genuine people.
