About this property
Russian and South African room in cabin surrounded by state forest
The Russian and South African rooms are part of the Log Country Inn B&B, located 11 miles south of Ithaca. Both rooms are themed and dedicated on our friends and guests from Russia who brought us many souvenirs, as well as our exchange student and his family from South Africa. They are located in the All Welcome in House, which is also connected to the Japanese suite, which has a separate entrance. The listing includes access to a full kitchen, living room, fireplace, and back porch facing 7,000 acres of state forest. For our guests staying 3 days or less, we offer a Polish breakfast in the main house included in the price! The owners of the B&B live on the property and are happy to help during your stay!
We love all pets! We ask that they are not left alone if this causes them anxiety and to make sure you have their vaccination records handy. We want them to enjoy their stay here just as much as you! We have a friendly dog named Zuch who is 14 years old and two cats, Tula and Guyu who live on the property as well.

Our 4year old yellow lab loved his stay. He especially enjoyed the fantastic breakfast as well of the hosts dog sharing his meal. He will be telling all his friends to book the place when they are traveling in the area
Cozy Log Cabin with Eastern European Flair in Heart of Finger Lakes
Enjoy Polish/Ukrainian/Russian breakfasts and decor in a cozy log cabin about a dozen miles south of Ithaca. Conveniently located for visiting Cornell U./Ithaca College, the central Finger Lakes, or Southern Tier regions of New York. Very friendly and gracious hosts welcome you to their log cabin retreat houses on the edge of a wildlife preserve with beautifully decorated, fully furnished rooms. Multiple room options are available in an older house, as well as in their brand new, rebuilt main lodge where you'll enjoy Syrniki (Ukranian/Russian cheese pancakes) or blintzes accompanied with fruit preserves, along with creamy scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. If you don't have somewhere else to be, you can enjoy friendly conversations and funny stories with your hosts for as long as you'd like. Great place for a weekend retreat for work or play, or much longer family vacations, in a remote setting but very convenient location.
