Everything you need is located within one minute walking distance from the property. Start your day with a morning cup of Cuban coffee at locally famous Five Brothers coffee shop across the street. Have lobster bisque for lunch with Key Lime pie for desert at the modern French Caribbean Café Sole and your dinner at the Italian Mangia, Mangia restaurant. All three locales are located within 100 yards from the property.
Key West Hideaway is close to all the action in town and yet far away enough from the noise to let you enjoy a good night of restful sleep. Not only is this community peaceful and quiet, but the house itself is tucked away at the far end of the property away from the occasional noise from the street.
Ride a bike! Your Key West Hideaway is equipped with three bikes for you to use. Within minutes you will be able to reach all the best beaches in Key West including South Beach (6 min), Smather's Beach (13 min) and Fort Zach State Park Beach (8 min). The Historic Marina is just a few blocks up from home too!
We've recently made some improvements in expanding your comfort in our home. We've finally added a bathroom! Our large second bedroom now has its own private bathroom, complete with a shower. This allows for a bit more privacy for multiple couples, guests, and children. We also added an outdoor shower! Have a quick rinse off from the pool or when you get back from the beach!

About the host
Hosted by Pete Orlanski
I am a professional musician from Los Angeles who loves nature, hiking and spending time by the water. I'm an avid backpacker and mountain goer and do volunteer expeditions with wildernessvolunteers.org. I also love the beach life! I live in a modest apartment by the beach near Venice, partake in sailing, paddle boarding, and body surfing. I was introduced to Key West through my love of adventure and curiosity about the Island life. I fell in love with the easy going nature of Key West, the people, culture, and chickens (of course!).
Why they chose this property
I love Key West. It has the energy and feel of a big city, but it is actually a small island four miles long and one mile wide surrounded by beaches. I love that even though the property is in the center of the old town and close to the raucous energy of Duval St, it is actually in a quiet neighborhood, so I can let go and relax at the house without the high intensity energy found just a few blocks away.
What makes this property unique
I think we have such a fantastic location. Nestled in a little quiet nook just around the corner from all the major tourist attractions and local favorites. We have a pretty big pool for KW too.
