Holidays in the center of the biosphere reserve Burg im Spreewald

Relax in our spacious 75 m² apartment on the first floor of an old residential building of a former farm on a large plot with a large orchard in the scattered settlement Burg in the UNESCO biosphere reserve Spreewald (the apartment is located directly in the biosphere reserve in the protection zone III). Enjoy the silence as the only holiday guest (excluding other guests such as deer, squirrels and foxes). Listen to the birdsong and hum of bees from our beehives and pamper your eyes with greenery. Let the children invent their games on the orchard. Enjoy at night a diverse starry sky that you no longer know from the light-flooded cities.

The apartment is in a house built in 1918. It is an ideal base for hiking and cycling through the Spreewald and the scattered settlement Burg. Boat rentals are about 1-2 km away. A petting zoo is located nearby (about 700m) .If necessary mooring for your own boat at the neighbors (about 400m) for a small fee. Purchase of eggs from free-range chickens and seasonal vegetables at neighboring farmers possible.
