About this property

Lovely Perigordian Property with plenty of Character

This beautiful Périgord property has 3 bedrooms (including two air-conditioned upstairs) and can comfortably accommodate 6 people.

There are 1 bathroom and 1 Shower room (each with a wc).

A large living/dining room and an open concept kitchen offer comfort and beautiful views over the valley.

The house is very well equipped to a high standard, with all necessary facilities.

Wi-Fi internet access is also available. Television with Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+

All towels and linens are provided.

The house is situated on a narrow private one-way road in a very quiet position with no passing traffic.
We suggest that you drive to the house and park near the gate to unload your luggage.
The road is only used by local residents for access, and is normally very quiet, so you should not be disturbed while unloading.
Do not try to use our driveway as it is very narrow.

Once unloaded, use the small turning area at the top of the hill to turn around.
This is much easier than reversing on the narrow road.

There is a car park at the very bottom of the hill, opposite the local library and school, with spaces still available. It is a safe and secure place to park and it is free. The walk up to the house is only a 3 minute walk of 150m during which you can enjoy the view of the village.

There are two gardens. The upper terraced garden, shaded from the hot sun, has steps down to the large main garden.

The two gardens offer privacy and splendid views.

The village has shops, restaurants, bars and all within walking distance of the house.

Only 5 minutes walk from the shops, so no need for a car to do your shopping or have a fresh baguette or pastries!

The beautiful village of Domme is 15 mins walk and Sarlat 15 mins by car.

Experience the many Markets in the area.

A lovely stay in Dordogne
The house was absolutely beautiful, well-equipped with modern appliances, and comfortable for our family in our weeklong stay. There’s a patio area with a table that we ate at several times and reclining chairs where you can soak in the sun and enjoy the peace and quiet of the neighborhood. The location was also perfect, as we were able to walk to the boulangerie every morning and have a delicious breakfast while looking out over the picturesque town. There are many impressive chateaux and bigger towns with good restaurants and shopping nearby that you can drive to, everything is extremely accessible. If you’re a photographer or lover of beauty, this is the place for you! Photographic opportunities are abundant thanks to the charming architecture and stunning greenery of this region. Overall, we enjoyed our relaxing time here and have no complaints, simply good memories we’ll look back on often.
