Would definitely rent again!

This was my first time renting thorugh VRBO and given my experience, I would do it again. The home is exactly as you see it in the pictures and descriptions and it was a wonderful stay. The water views were better than expected. We were a family of 8 ranging from 17yo to 81yo and all enjoyed our stay and were quite comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to make our meals. Beds were comfortable and home is decorated nicely. My only complaints that are really suggestions -- (1) fire your housekeeper. Everything looks clean upon entry but as you start to look closer, the home needs to be cleaned better. Floors needed a good mop and counter tops wiped down. Dryer was over stuffed with sheets and towels and towels needed to be washed again. Still not sure where the sheets were supposed to go given that all the beds were made up. We had to go buy towels since there were not enough provided. (2) update the welcome manual to include wi-fi instructions, trash removal, who to call for any issues, how to operate tv etc (3) get better outdoor furniture - it's a beautiful space to use. The host was quick to respond but I felt that had info been provided then we wouldn't have had to bother him. Overall, the home is wonderful and worth renting again!

Beautiful property

This is a beautiful property maintained well. Has a nice view of the bay from the front balconies. We stayed while attending a retirement ceremony for our grandson on base in Virginia Beach. We had some concerns about the travel time through the tunnel to the base and his home especially with the bridge construction but it was no problem. We had to extend a day due to flight issues and our host was very helpful and responsive.

Beautiful home, pleasant stay, quiet

House is not on the water but has a water view. House in front of this home, then the water. But up high on cliff with big rocks. 10 minutes walk to beach. House is newly updated with farmhouse decor. Clean though floors, rugs and inside cabinets could use some cleaning. I was not grossed out to stay there. Yeaaa!! Very quiet, nice restaurants nearby. Not a lot of things to do near by. Movies, aquarium an hour away. Great place to meet up with family and friends and play games, stay inside and relax or walk to the beach. We didn't walk to the beach as we're all in our 60s and disabled.
