AbFab Seaside Cottage is a historic home is located in the heart of Galveston, just blocks from the beach, restaurants, shopping and features a private swimming pool. This AbFab Seaside Cottage is available for holiday vacations where guests will enjoy all the amenities of the home. This home features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and will accommodate up to 10 guests. The home has a charming front porch. This historic home was built in 1886 and has survived until today, the home is located just 5 blocks from the beach and was recently renovated. This home features a private salt water swimming pool. The swimming pool is shallow at each end and 5' deep in the middle. The pool also features seating all around the edge - perfect for sunbathing! Walking distance to many landmarks - it's a unique and chic vacation rental!
The home is fully outfitted for a vacation rental property. The large living area features a TV with cable channels and WiFi. The updated modern kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals and snacks for the whole crowd. Guests will rave at the massively large refrigerator - big enough for everything you want to store during the vacation. The kitchen also includes a large gas range, microwave, dishes, all the kitchen tools necessary for food preparation and a dining table and chairs.
The main floor of the home features two bedrooms and a full bath with a step-in shower. The primary bedroom features a queen bed, the second bedroom on this level is also a queen-size bed. The third bedroom is located upstairs and features both a queen bed + 2 twin beds. The upstairs bath includes a bathtub (no shower). The living area features a twin/twin trundle bed for a total of 10 guests.
The home also includes a washer/dryer for the convenience of the guests.
Staying in town or near one of Galveston's Historic Districts has its own set of perks and is very different from the West End or near East Beach. Many in town homes are walking distance to the seawall, the beach, restaurants, shopping, the Historic Strand & Postoffice district, the Pleasure Pier, museums, the Galveston-Bolivar Ferry, plenty of other attractions, things to do, grocery stores, Texas A&M University, Shriner’s Hospital, Ronald McDonald House and UTMB (University of Texas Medical Branch), one of the largest, most technologically sophisticated emergency care facilities in the world, a level 1 trauma and burn center.
