Fishing destination

We LOVE staying at the Moose Lantern. We enjoyed the quiet, clean cabin after long days on the water. The cabin is well stocked, we especially loved the waffle maker! We are excited to visit again!

A Good Time Near Lake Vermilion

A well kept place, with great wifi and ac. It has a lot of space, a good fire pit, and great dock for your boat.

Wonderful place with all modern amenities. Cold AC. Firepit with plenty of wood. Lake access across the road with a brief walk. Nice long dock to tie up boats. Very clean property all around. Comfortable beds. Much fun had by all. Would definitely stay again.

Awesome week vaca

We had an awesome time at this VRBO!! This was my first experience doing a VRBO and it went excellent. House was perfect for our family and friends fishing trip!! Very clean and had everything we needed.

Clean property located in a quiet area

Property had everything that we needed. Great boat parking for multiple boats and loop around driveway made it simple for getting in and out. Highly recommend!

So clean!

What a beautiful home! My family and I agreed that it is probably the cleanest VRBO we've ever stayed at. We couldn't tell that pets are also allowed inside the property. It had plenty of space for our group of 7. We loved the deck and fire pit. Thank you for the great experience!

Tournament stay

Our group of 2 teams that were participating in the MN SATT tournament of champions quite comfortable in the nice home. After a season of hotel rooms the was a pleasant stay. Home was well equipped for us and very clean. Super comfortable sleeping accommodations. As well as room for our 3 boats. Our host Tiffany was fantastic answering questions and very prompt. Very pleased with our stay.

We loved the Moose Lantern!!

We loved everything about our stay! The layout and decorations in the house worked great for our family of 8 - grandparents, parents, aunt and three siblings. We also had 2 labs with us. Rented a pontoon boat from Timbuktu - easy access off the pier - we sometimes drove and sometimes walked to the pier. Took a day trip to Ely - American Bear Center and lunch at the Ely Steakhouse. Walked the nature trail at Semer's Beach and enjoyed the shops downtown. Campfire and smores each night and caught lots of bluegill, perch, small mouth bass and a 30 inch northern pike off the pier!! Highly recommend the Moose Lantern!!

Snowmobilers dream

If a cabin was built specifically for snowmobilers this is it. Walking in from the main floor is an area that is designed to hang enough gear for 10 riders with a heating unit that dries it all out over night. It is also big enough to hang out and talk about the day. Then you go upstairs to a wide open room with a GREAT high top counter area, dining room and couch area. It is well appointed and very comfortable!!! The main trail is 5 minutes from the cabin. Tiffany, the owner is very responsive. I highly recommend this cabin and I look forward to the next time.

Beautiful cabin, lots of room, nice owners!

We had a fantastic time at Moose Lantern! With a great view and access to Lake Vermillion. We came up to celebrate my sons 17th birthday and go snowmobiling. Huge driveway made it easy to park trucks and trailers. It was snowing when we checked out so the covered deck above made it easy to pull up and load/unload our belongings. Gorgeous kitchen with all the things you need to cook for a group of 6. Each room was well appointed and came with ceiling fans as well as white noise fans. Great fireplace upstairs and a drying fireplace downstairs for hats, mittens etc.. We took advantage of the fire pit outside and had snowball fights and just had fun. Highly recommend ❤️Thanks Tiffany & Brandon

Beautiful home and location!

Just loved our stay in such a beautiful home! Completely private location and scenic views! This home has everything you need, right down to shampoo! The huge kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals. We loved the large dining table with amazing views while enjoying our meals. The huge breakfast bar was handy for our sushi night! Lots of things to do within reasonable distance. Went to ely to visit museums and up to international falls to do some trinket shopping. Unfortunately, or fortunately it rained almost every day. Thus home makes being stuck indoors a treat! This was supposed to be a trip focused on fishing, but winds and weather hindered that plan. The pier was long with plenty of room for our boat. Indian bay is pretty weedy. Good fishing across the bay for walleye and perch. The distance from cabin door to dock is a bit of a trek we brought our ATV to make it a quick trip! Once to the board walk they have a rugged wagon to load gear and wheel down to the dock. The board walk is well lit and boards are close together making walking it easy. Several close boat launches we used the marina right at the end of the road. Once on the lake it's easy to navigate with a good map. However everything you need is right there near Indian bay! Polly's offer a bar and bait. Live bait also available right across from you dock. Forget the name, can't miss it! Little beach area, snacks, souvenirs and of course bait! Hopefully our next trip we will have better weather, there is so much to do "on lake"! This home is by far one of our favorites! Can't wait to come back!! Thank you Tiffany for all the spot on correspondence, fast and helpful! Check in could not have been easier!!

Love our time at Moose Lantern!

Our family returned to Moose Lantern after an amazing visit last year and it never disappoints! The cabin is in a great location, has lots of space and Tiffany has exceptional communication! Also had the opportunity to see the northern lights off of the porch and it was incredible! Looking forward to another visit next season!
