About this property

Maison Rouge is an award winning home located in Coloma on Paw Paw Lake, the largest (1200 acre) all sports lake in Southwest Michigan, and offers a truly exceptional lake experience. This destination property is family friendly and features five (5) uniquely themed and well appointed bedrooms which can accommodate as many as 18 guests. There are 3 full bathrooms and 1 half bath. There are 4 bedrooms and a sitting/reading area on the 2nd floor. This home features an inviting open concept living allowing guests to interact easily whether preparing meals, enjoying board games or dining. The adjacent living room is outfitted with a queen sofa sleeper and lounger which can double as sleeper. The 1st floor master suite steam shower is always a hit. Additional amenities include full washer/dryer, WiFi, 60” HDTV with ROKU.

Forgot to bring your favorite stockpot or special spices, don’t want to chop those veggies? Not to worry, the chefs kitchen is completely outfitted with all the comforts of home. Feel free to use all appliances, serving trays, etc. Guests can take meals on the outdoor oversized dining table steps from the kitchen or take advantage of the natural gas grill while enjoying views of the lake and the parade of boats. This lounging deck with gas fire pit overlooks a pristine acre lawn, providing an inviting setting for sports like volleyball, badminton, corn hole, or even sack races or simply relaxing on the hammock. Don’t forget to bring your yard games!

Take advantage of lake life by bringing your boat and fishing gear. Our boat slip can accommodate one boat. Want a more leisurely lake stroll? Maison Rouge provides our guests two paddle boards and two tandem kayaks free of charge for your enjoyment during your stay. Life vests and paddles are included. If interested in pontoon rental during your stay, please let us know prior to your arrival.

PETS: One (1) pet (under 50 lb) allowed. $100 non-refundable fee required. Please inquire prior to arrival.

2. No drinking or eating on the 2nd floor
3. Maison Rouge is located in a residential neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors. Limit outdoor activity after 11:00 PM. For example, low volume music, fireworks.
4. Trash should be bagged and placed in gray collection bins near side of the house.

Great Spot - better host

Great experience. The place had the perfect layout for our trip. 5 kids (ages 4-13), 5 adults. Setup was great. Lawn was fantastic and the dock was a big convenience. Communication was great, responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

Large, Beautiful Oasis

We were welcomed with champagne and beautiful flowers. The house was large and accommodated our extended family well. There were plenty of cooking utensils and condiments for food prep. The backyard was great for playing cornhole or watching the boats go by. The deck had a table long enough for big dinners and games. Sergio was very accommodating and arranged to make room to dock our boat rental. The main lake was a quick kayak or boat ride away. There are also two restaurants within walking distance and a large grocery store a mile away. We highly recommend this home.

Lake House

We really enjoyed the property and the lake. However, the house was not cleaned well and could definitely use some maintenance work. The bunk bed was a definite safety issue that should have been addressed before we came and the hammock should not have been left out either. It broke right down the center and we were great full no one was hurt.The upstairs bathtub tap came off in your hands and the bathtubs were not cleaned well at all!! The sheets had dog hair on the bunk beds. For the amount of money we paid for the house rental it requires more cleanliness and upkeep.
