Just what you were looking for, Tidewater is a first class resort, and yes we are on the beach not just a beach view! A 1st Floor Condo with wrap around balcony overlooking the 4000+ sq. ft. pool with Tiki Bar and Jacuzzi. This unit is on east end of condo so you can enjoy both the sunrises and sunsets! What a perfect location. All this without hearing any noise from the pool area because of the very well made insulated sliding glass doors. Think beautiful turquoise water with sand so white it almost looks like sparkling sugar.

Three generations girls’ trip

Grand mom, daughters and granddaughters had a great time at this property. Plenty of space for all 8 of us. Property is close to anything you need or want to do. We would definitely rent here again.

Spring Break with family

This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed at Tidewater and our first time in this specific condo. We loved it! We have a special needs son, so being on the 1st floor was a huge help with not having to wait too often for the elevators! There was so much space throughout the condo that we didn’t feel crammed together at night to watch the March Madness games. There are a lot of things to do within walking distance and even taking our vehicle out to dinner was good because there are a lot of shops and places to eat that aren’t too far. We had a wonderful time here!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I normally make yearly trips to Panama City beach. We have a larger group so we choose a condo to stay in. When I seen a condo on the first floor I didn’t think twice and booked it! The condo was clean and well maintained. The headboard on the bed in one of the rooms moves when you move while laying on the bed but it wasn’t anything that bothered us too much, just something to note if you are a light sleeper, could probably be remedied with a simple fix. Also the pillows are a bit flat in the same room. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this space and will look into booking further stays with this rental service!The resort itself definitely needs to have some things fixed (examples - the elevators are horrible, the pedestrian lights to cross front beach rd did not work the entire 5 night stay, etc) but these are beyond the condo rental services control.

The property was older but nice. The condo really needs to update the furniture throughout. We would have been interested in reserving next year, but the living room furniture is very worn out. We enjoyed staying on the first floor though. I unfortunately came into dirty socks laying in the kitchen area. And swim trunks on the balcony. Not particularly what you would expect with the money I paid to rent it. Also never been in a condo with roach baits throughout and every where. I have been renting for over 30 years and never came across that. Overall liked the location.

Tidewater Resort

Would have been really nice if the resort itself would have heated outdoor pools, shame they have these 2 huge outdoor pools that were colder than the ocean itself and this tiny indoor pool for everyone to cram into just to swim. Condo was spacious, fully loaded with beach chairs, beach toys, shovels and boogie boards! Condo rental is managed by family and they kept in touch just to make sure there wasn't anything we didn't need. They were willing to come right away when I advised them of a minor issue, nothing major just knobs loose and a cabinet door falling off but other than that the condo was beautiful and we enjoyed our stay :)

Family trip 2023

We had 6 adults and 3 babies 2 and under. The condo was beautiful with a great view of beach, pool, and street. Being on the first floor was perfect for our group as we avoided elevator waits for the most part. The Tidewater staff was constantly working to keep the common areas clean and security was everywhere. Our condo was perfect, clean, nicely furnished and having 3 bathrooms and 3 parking spaces were a huge benefit. The weather was bad and the beach was dangerous with double red flags but we still had the best time thanks to the comfort of our condo. I highly recommend for large groups. If we return as a family I will look to book this property again.

The kitchen was stocked better than the reviews led on, so that was good. It was a good size for our party of 4 adults and 2 kids. The fact that Marco’s pizza was across the street was awesome. Very close to Pier Park, Wal-mart. The worst thing about this place is the elevator situation. I knew this going in due to reading reviews and luckily found this unit on the 2nd floor, knowing we’d use the stairs more than the elevator. But we had to use the elevator when loading up the car and it was a nightmare. We waited 15-25 minutes for the elevator each time. This alone is the reason we won’t stay here again. It was pretty much the only negative but it’s a big negative and was exhausting.

Girls Trip 2025

The location of the property was perfect. Although the unit was clean,feel like it is time for a sofa update and new mattress's. We were very excited to be near the pool. As it turned out, it was not so pleasant. There were lots of people with loud speakers at the pool. Lots of people smoking and vaping. Ignoring all the rules.

Great location but has maintenance issues

This property had plenty of room for my group of 6. However, the bunk beds were not really functional. The top bunk railing was loose and I was uncomfortable allowing that to be used. The bottom bunk did not provide enough room for small child to easily slide in. Grateful this was located on the first floor because use of the elevators were not fully functional throughout the stay. The hot tub closest was not working. We were able to walk to the complete other side to use the other one. The beds were very uncomfortable and the mattress protectors rustled with every small movement. Every person is my group struggled to sleep because of the noise and poor comfort. Many of the sheets or dust ruffles had stains that looked like dried blood. The unit below us informed us that there was a leak in their ceiling, likely from something from our unit. When we inspected, these was some debris buildup on the water heater. It looked like a small leak, creating a mass of something that looked like and smelled like sewage. Management did send maintenance over to inspect. I was told it was a building issue and they would be working with the HOA. Most amazing aspect of this unit is the proximity to the beach and relative closeness to Pier Park.

Hubby Bday Trip

We liked everything except the elevators on our side was down. They had a sign up but we later found out they had been down since April. It was extremely long waits for the elevators. My mom and aunt came with us and it was too hard for them trying to walk over to the other side and use stairs.
