Built in 1944 and sumptuously transformed in 2021, the Mildred Rose Cottage embodies the best of old and new. With direct ocean frontage on two sides, the cottage is uniquely positioned to watch both sunrise and sunset -- while the gentle roar of the ocean serenades every room. Luxuriously renovated (all high-end furniture, appliances and fittings), and perfectly situated (a short bike or walk into town), the Mildred Rose cottage is in a league of its own. Welcome to the joy of Saint Simons!

Please don't climb on the rocks that border our property and the beach.
There's no fence separating our house from the neighbor's, but there is a wooden slat in the grass to mark it. Please stay on our side, thank you!

AMAZING BEACH COTTAGE!!! The perfect place for a family or friends getaway.

Excellent in every aspect. Well equipped kitchen for meals in. Beds were extremely comfortable. Plenty of comfortable seating space to TV. Screened porch was enjoyed by all. Excellent parking and easy bringing luggage in to house. Beach view from every room in the house. Beach access was awesome, best on the island. Easy walk to excellent restaurants. I will definitely be returning. Not one unpleasant issue with our stay

Both the location and amenities of the Mildred Rose Cottage are exceptionally rare as a rental here on Saint Simons. The cottage sits directly on the ocean and also enjoys direct beach access. The cottage just underwent a gut renovation -- resulting in a gorgeous transformation -- and no expense was spared (e.g., SubZero fridge, custom furniture. Read: No Ikea here!).
