We loved the property and the location! The pool was a great way to cool off in the Texas heat. Wonderful communication with AvantStay before we checked-in and during our stay. Will definitely come back to stay here again.

The house is great for entertaining. I did make a comment to Avant Stay that it needs some minor upkeep in the outdoor area. The cushions for the couch outside were worn and torn, and there were some spiderwebs on the railing. The carport was dirty as was the ping pong table. The grill was dirty as well.I do want to point out that these are, as I previously stated, just minor comments, but overall, the house is outstanding. The pool and the hot tub were exceptional. The few times that I did reach out to the company, they responded promptly.Even with these minor comments that I stated above, overall, we had an incredible experience, and I would strongly recommend this property and Avant stay.Would definitely stay here again.

There needs to be maintenance put into this place. It feels and looks like a lot of things are falling paper including the pool umbrella. Breakers kept going in and out while using the stove and lots of scuffs on the walls. Host was very nice and replaced our remote in the master bedroom promptly. Plenty of linens and the rain shower was a nice touch. The outdoor space was the best part of this rental even though the TV on the balcony was not there like it was in the pictures. Other than that everything else was ok.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, Megan. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the outdoor space, the rain shower, and that you found the linens well-stocked. We also appreciate your kind words about our team’s responsiveness in replacing the remote promptly. That said, we’re sorry to hear about the maintenance issues you encountered, including the breakers, scuffs, and condition of the pool umbrella, as well as the balcony TV not being as pictured. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and we’ve shared your comments with our team to ensure these matters are reviewed and addressed. Your insights are very helpful in guiding improvements, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back for a smoother and more enjoyable experience in the future.

Farther than Barton Springs

1st off - we have booked some great VRBO's. This property is between the Buffalo Gap and Steiner Ranch area not Barton as advertised. Photos are deceiving. The level of craftsmanship is far beyond what is advertised in the listing. Also, if you have kids this may not be the most kid-friendly home. One of our kids fell down the top of the stairs (that is made of wood and metal) because there is not a rail on one side and an odd gap. We texted the property management about it and the first thing they said was “we don’t offer refunds” – we weren’t looking for a refund, just trying to address the safety of this home. The driveway to the property is very long and steep so backing in and out can be difficult. The pool/hot tub is not heated and is disconnected from the home so have to go to through the garage parking area to get to the pool. The exterior was also quite dirty upon arrival. Though the view is calming and serene, the pools sits on the edge of a cliff so if your kids were to stand and fall, it would not result it anything well. The area is about a 40-minutes drive to downtown so it’s not close if you would like to be where all the activities/great shopping there is in Austin. We ended up not staying at the home and booked at a luxury hotel downtown Austin our entire stay where your travel experience and level of service will go far more.
