Snug and beautiful 1 bedroom apartment, recently remodeled. A truly functional and well-equipped kitchen - granite countertops, deep stainless steel sink, microwave/convection oven, dishwasher, flat stove top.

Entertainment center boasts 42' flat panel television, CD/DVD player, good reading lighting. Parking for one car is included; weekly house-keeping services for longer stays. Free local/long distance telephone & password protected Wifi. Roku TV/Netflix; also charging station for mobile devices.

Well-tended tropical gardens surround stunning heated pool, tennis court, outdoor gas-fired grills. Coin-operated laundry facilities, comfortable lobby/library. Perfect weather year-round for outdoor activities and dining.

Beautiful views. My only complaint would be the size of the bed (seemed more like a double bed and not a queen) and the front door is difficult to close when it needs to be locked.

Our host was very good to deal with and super accommodating with late checkout. The condo was just as advertised, with awesome ocean views off large balcony. We spent 10 days in Maui and looked forward to getting back to the apartment after each long day of doing touristy stuff. Grounds are very well kept, staff were easy to deal with and our suite was very quiet and relaxing.

Fantastic location with amazing views

Waking up to an ocean view and listening to the peaceful sound of the surf just outside the balcony door, then watching the sunset as you kick back and relax after a long day of unwinding, what else is there to ask for? The location can't be beat, with all the amenities and supplies needed for our family of four to thoroughly enjoy our stay. Thank you to Ed and the Kuleana staff for making it such an amazing and memorable stay.

Relaxing in Maui

The views from the Lanai are stupendous. This is our third time staying at the Kuleana and we love it. The grounds are beautiful, the pool quiet and relaxing, and the ocean is right there. It could not be better.

Absolutely loved this property, everything that you need in the kitchen, the unit was spotless the grounds are meticulously maintained the bbq’s are cleaned every morning and was a great place to socialize in the evenings when grilling up dinner. Got to whales every day we were on the Lania. Would definitely recommend this listing

Kuleana is beautifully landscaped, quiet and relaxing. The unit was equipped with all you need to cook and was very comfortable. Thankfully the bedroom has A/C for a comfortable sleep.

Maui Magic

My husband and I look forward to our stay at kuleana #507 every year. The view is the best in the complex, and we always feel like we are home when we walk in the door. It is close to shopping, beaches, and walking trails, and many wonderful restaurants. The condo has everything we need and is clean and comfortable. It is our slice of paradise.

Nicely updated condo, with everything we needed for our stay. Fabulous views from the lanai with gorgeous sunsets each night. The bed was comfy, which is important to a light sleeper, as I am. We used the outdoor grills a couple of times to grill fish and steaks. Ed was a gracious host. We would stay here again.

More amazing memories!

We had a wonderful stay, and love the way the plants on the grounds are maintained to enhance the feeling of peacefulness. I love the location of the grills so that you can enjoy the sunset, while you cook dinner and meet new people from different parts of the country/world. A morning cup of coffee on the lanai looking out over the ocean is a favorite way to start our morning. We're very interested in booking again.

Was that a whale?

Every morning my husband and I drank coffee on the lanai and watched the whales. The condo was a short drive to all the restaurants and beaches. I'm sure you could walk there too. The condo had everything we needed and it was great having a full size fridge. The bed was comfortable and the short was good too. We would stay here again and I am recommending it to everybody

Beautiful - peaceful property - perfect for our 35th wedding Anniversary get-away. Turtles & Whales everywhere. Small beaches - perfect for couples. Pool for afternoon relaxing. Awesome sunsets on the beachfront or our 2nd floor lanai. BBQ area perfect for meal prep & visits. So glad owner put a front room fold out bed - sleep to the sound of waves. Easy walk to stores & food venues + food truck park. Paradise at its finest 🌴🐢 we hope to return 😊

Whales and turtles

This condo was wonderful!! The view is amazing and you can sit on the lanai and watch the whales. Take a walk along the grounds is delightful and very well maintained. If you like turtles this is the place. They love to swim up and eat in the rocks and tide pool area. I went out to watch them everyday. We would definitely stay here again. The photos are very accurate. Thank you for a wonderful trip

I really loved staying at the Hibiscus House!!! I stayed in this condo with my husband and my baby boy ( 18 months) We really felt like home since the first minute. AMAZING OCEAN VIEW, very relaxing..we spent every minute watching the fab view especially at sunrise time!!! It was what we wanted! Absolutely recommended! .

Wonderful location and views

Our stay at Hibiscus House was delightful. The condo was very clean and stocked with everything you could possibly want, including beach towels, extra linens, foldable chairs, fully stocked kitchen. The property is very well maintained and relatively quiet and the views are gorgeous -- you can see the ocean from your lanai and we even spotted whales. The pool is heated and is a great place to cool off after a long day of trekking around the island. Ed was also very responsive and helpful. We look forward to staying at Hibiscus House again when we return to Maui and we will certainly recommend it to our friends.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE!

This place is truly amazing. The location is perfect, right between Kaanapali and Napili Bay. The views are breathtaking. Incredible sunsets, even more incredible grounds! We watched the whales off in the distance every day. The small beach areas at either end of the property always have sea turtles swimming around and offer great snorkeling. The pool is huge, great tennis court, shuffle board and even ping pong in the lower lobby! The fold out sofa was perfect for our 12 year old son. I've recommended this place to all of our friends!

Great spot for quiet in Maui

We loved staying at the Hibiscus House. It was so quiet every morning (and evening) you could hear the waves and unique birds. The view is wonderful, so many great pictures! The whole condo was nice, easy to find and near a small beach that wasn’t crowded. There were sea turtles always nearby. The area itself is more residential, so removed from the central touristy areas. But easy to drive to them if you’d like. Quite a long drive to do the road to Hana or Haleakala, but do-able. A very relaxing stay and beautiful lanai to enjoy in the morning and evenings.

3rd stay for a reason

This is my third year back at the Hibiscus House. Can you tell I love it? The new electronic lock on the front door is great. The bed is super comfy. And I keep a photo of the view from the lanai at my desk to tell everyone I know about it. The development is very quiet. The location is superb. It is near many delicious restaurants for all budgets (Fish Market for best fish tacos ever). Highly recommend this condo.

Having immediately fallen in love with Maui, we bought this property on our first trip to the Islands in 1975. I'm originally from Texas, big, dry and dusty...Maui was a revelation of what paradise might look like. In the back of my mind however crazy things get back in California now, I can smile knowing I have a beautiful place to escape to!

Why they chose this property

As a devoted swimmer, one of the first things I noticed was the beautiful and well-maintained pool. With low rise buildings all close to the ocean, there is a village feel which appeals to me much more than staying in a high rise hotel. I really feel "at home" when there; and the cordial staff of long standing always provide a warm welcome to our guests.

What makes this property unique

Since we're good cooks, one of the best dining places on the island is the lanai overlooking the Pacific. When the moon shimmers over the water, we feel like the stars of our own movie. During the winter months, whales are our offshore companions and we can spend hours watching them frolic
