The Space

Welcome to your modern and stylish retreat in the heart of Lava Hot Springs! This spacious suite is the perfect home base for your next adventure, blending comfort with contemporary design.

Relax in the open-concept living area, featuring a comfortable sectional sofa, a large TV with cable, and a charming exposed brick wall that adds a touch of character. The bright, even lighting makes the entire space feel clean and inviting.

Prepare delicious meals in the full kitchen, which comes complete with dark wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, a full-size refrigerator, stove, and microwave. A dining table with seating for six is ready for you to enjoy your meals together.

This suite comfortably accommodates up to six guests with two private bedrooms, each furnished with a queen-size bed, and a queen-size pullout sofa in the living room. You'll also have a private, modern bathroom with a shower-tub combination.

Guest Access

Enjoy seamless and convenient self-check-in. You will have private access to the entire suite. A unique passcode for the keyless entry will be sent to you via text message just before your stay begins.

After reserving your suite, you will receive an additional email from our booking platform, OwnerRez, to complete your rental agreement and secure a $200 hold for incidentals. This hold is released after 7 days, provided there are no issues.

This was a nice place and we would stay again. The fan in the bedroom on the right side of the bathroom has a "tick" that was loud enough for the need to put ear plugs in but it was a very cozy bed. The bathroom is small, so an additional mirror somewhere else in the house would have been a lovely addition.

Backstory: this place just went under renovations after an unfortunate collapse of an adjoining bar. It is not completely done yet. That being said, the owners are super responsive and helpful when we had a few hiccups as the first-time renters in the new building. The place is looking great and our 2 bedroom sofa sleeper Suite #8 was perfect for a family of 5. We would have loved a dryer for all the wet towels and swimsuits but it should be up and running soon (located in the main hallway). The overall location is great - it is a small town, so everything is essentially on one street. This is the end closest to the grocery market, pool and river tube rental shuttle. Quick easy walk to everything else. We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay close to everything

This little apartment/ hotel is in a great location. It's within walking distance to everything. The hot pools, hiking, restaurants and shops on main Street, and v even the little market. It had plenty of sleeping space for our family of 7. Both sofas pull out to nice comfy beds and each room has a comfy queen size bed. The kitchen is stocked with many things. If there was any complaint it would be the funky smell in the hallway and the limited parking.

Decent option for place to stay with 3+ people

The check in process was simple and straight forward. We were pleased with the amount of space we had. With 4 adults and 4 children ages ranging from 5 months - 7 years, we really liked having a living area to spend time in and a kitchen to prepare food in. We did notice mold on the wall close to the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. We understand this because the apartment had very poor ventilation. We were quite cold in the night and the space was quite humid all of the time. Opening the window when the weather was nice and using the dehumidifier helped when they were used, but we laid out our towels to dry and they'd still be quite damp hours later. The heater and the dehumidifier are also quite loud when you run them. The water temperature in the bathroom was either very hot or very cold (hard for children to handle) and the bathroom was quite small but we made it work. We also would have loved to have menus from the close restaurants that do take out as they were hard to track down online. All in all, we were happy for the space and had a good time on our trip. We were comfortable enough considering the age of the building and the amenities that were offered. Lastly, there were many threats of added fees after the stay in addition to the $200 deposit. We were a bit worried how picky they would be and did our best to leave it how we found it and were grateful to see the deposit reversed after our stay.

Our $200 security deposit is new this year and has brought in fantastic guests who treat the suites very respectfully! 99.9% of our guests get it released like you, the other 0.1% are contacted personally before we do anything different. Thanks again for the feedback and bringing your family to stay with us!

We are a young family of 6. Our family has always enjoyed going on outdoor adventures. For the past few years we have explored various National Parks. Lava Hot Springs is one of the Hidden Gems that we fell in love with along the way.

Why they chose this property

Although being natives to southeast Idaho we didn't become enamored with Lava Hot Springs until searching for a family cabin. We happened to come across this building and thought it wasn't quite a cabin, but we could envision making and sharing many memories with our family and friends here. It hasnt disappointed
