Your apartment is located in the ancient village of Gabiano Monferrato, in the heart of Monferrato, and has a view of the beautiful hills. The house is located in a building without elevator and has a balcony where you can admire the beautiful surrounding countryside with its rolling hills while enjoying a refreshing drink or aperitif. In the garden, guests have a gazebo for exclusive use; in addition, they can use children's playground, table tennis table and two fitness equipment in common with the other apartments IPL188,190,191. Since 2014, the Langhe-Roero and Monferrato wine-growing areas have been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, enriching the area of the Piedmont Wine Routes. In October, the area between the Langhe and Monferrato hosts a series of wine and truffle fairs, the most famous in medieval style is the white truffle fair in Alba, which you can visit in the first weeks of October. Don't miss visiting the castles of Sabaudi, such as Castello di Annone, 48 km away or Visconti di Ozzano, 17 km away; visit the beautiful towns such as Asti, famous for its Spumante DOC (41km). For those of you who love horseback riding or hiking, Monferrato offers the possibility to take part in horseback riding or walking tours, to admire incomparable panoramas, to visit ancient castles and, last but not least, to taste the traditional cuisine of this area. From September to the end of October important culinary events take place in Piedmont: Asti awaits with its Douja d'Or wines, Altavilla Monferrato with chocolate specialties and Alba with Vinum and white truffles. For the art lovers among you, we recommend a visit to Turin, 54 km away, once the capital of Italy, with its museums and royal palaces. Arona on Lake Maggiore and Lake Orta are about 112 km away.
