Loved our stay at Bunny Pad!! Once you get past first impressions (basically sneaking into someone’s back yard!!), the property itself is fantastic. It has absolutely everything you need, is in great condition and is super clean. The bathroom was really well done and the shower was great, although the water pressure is quite weak. Huge comfy bed, though my only gripe is that there are no bedside tables and it’s pushed up against the wall. I wonder if a shimmy around with the sofa could help the layout work better?? Could do with a full length mirror, and the entrance to the property needs some TLC - non existent path and lots of spikey weeds in the grass. Parking was easy enough and the neighbourhood felt really safe, it was an easy walk to and from town.
The bunny pad was cute and close to so many things you would need. The host was great with check in instructions! We went to Idaho from Canada for a vacation before back to school and we will definitely be back.
Property itself was impeccable. Ideal for 2 adults or small family.
Only 2 things - could use a chest of drawers and path we are required to use to VRBO needs to be weeded. Couldn’t find it at first and lots of burrs.

Perfect place for those wanting a quiet but conveniently close stay to downtown CDA. The only issue was the walking path from street to door for women in heels as it was uneven grass/dirt. Nearby neighbors were friendly.

We had a wonderful time at this property during our recent golfing trip to the area. Very cute small home with a well appointed kitchen. The only negatives would be access to the home is quite inconvenient for hauling large bags. The path from the road is bark chips and weeds, so not much fun to drag things thru. Access from the alley isn't much better, still have to drag heavy bags thru gravel/bark chips. Dragging those heavy bags up a steep flight of stairs was a workout too, but we made it work. The only other negative was the list of rules (you are warned that they are watching with security cameras outside). Lots of those with immediate rental termination if you break them. I hated telling my friends that they would have to wait out on the street for us to come out rather than them being able to come to the door to retrieve us for a dinner out. Would I stay here again? Sure, it was clean, comfortable and cute.
The interior was new, clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed for a long weekend. Beds were very comfortable and we had room to spread out. Outside was not great but we didn’t mind.
We had a great vacation in Couer d'Alene. The bunny pad is ok. Everything works, including the much needed A/C! I don't recommend anyone that has issues with stairs staying, as anything other than cooking and/or eating is done upstairs(no TV on main floor). It's easy access to the Centennial trail and a short drive to the downtown area.

Wouldn’t have booked if I knew the whole story.
The place itself is very nice, but the day we were checking in we received a *lengthy* list of “important information” that was so strict and threatening that I would not have rented it had I known. Multiple mentions of “we will kick you out if…” so much so that it felt like they were just waiting to find a reason to take our money and not have anyone actually stay there. I suggested to the owner that they provide that information to people inquiring about the property before they book it.

Everything was very nice but there were a few things that should be made clear- the second bed is in a sloped room that has no windows or ventilation. As an adult It was hard to get in and out of bed as the second person. It would be more fitting for children. The property was beautiful and the owner had great communication.
We stayed for 2 nights for 4th of July so we wouldn’t have to navigate traffic after the fireworks display. This place was awesome! In a nice quiet neighborhood with ample street parking, approximately 1 mile to the marina and comfortable beds- I was so happy with our time here. Definitely going to consider booking again if we have needs next year!
Lovely finishes and modern small house. One room has no windows or natural light and sleeping accommodation almost dormitory style. Definitely not suitable for our needs and probably more suited to college kids or families. Lots of neighborhood construction at the moment and only on-street parking. We had to use the pull out sofa and that has not been cleaned for some time. Overall, not impressed and won't stay there again.

Not what was expected
We needed the third bed but there was no bedding, pillows, or comforter. We all slept in 2 beds. The one room was a small closet with a bed. No area to enjoy outside, instead we had 3 houses around us. Not an enjoyable place to stay
I travel up to CDA often to see family. I use Vrbo regularly and have stayed in more than a few places. John’s Vrbo fit all my criteria and was my best stay to date.
In summer, you really do need AC in CDA and a lot of places don’t have it. John had AC on and rental unit nice and cool for our arrival. That’s a huge benefit when it’s deep into summer and you’ve been traveling all day.
All the finishes were high end with a nice “Idaho” touch. The shower was absolutely perfect with both a rain shower, hand-held sprayer and plenty of hot water. Makeup mirror was provided as well as many other details that made our stay very comfortable. Clean, cool, and quiet are my top necessities and John’s unit delivered.
The location is absolutely perfect. Easy walk to Sherman Ave as well as down to the water. The area is very safe and I wouldn’t hesitate to take a walk late into the evening. Generally, northern Idaho is very safe, very beautiful and a fun destination.
Be sure to look for the bunnies. They are adorable and just another detail that makes this unit very special.
A huge thank you to John for going over and beyond making our stay the best one yet.
This property was the perfect layout for our family of four. It was clean and had everything we needed. Close to restaurants and the beach. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you to the hosts!
Nice neighborhood & walking distance to yummy food
Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay here! We were able to walk to a few eateries close by. The guest house was clean and met all of our needs. The air conditioner works really well. John was easy to communicate with and responsive. Highly recommend this place!
We celebrated our 15th annual guys weekend trip here. Perfect home. All the amenities you would need. Great spot. We will definitely rent here next year.
Thanks
Quirky new rental. Quiet location close to downtown and the beach on lake CDA. Comfy beds, nice bathrooms and top of the line kitchen. Had everything we needed. One of the beds is in the living room. Or the living room is in the bedroom? Not a true two bedroom so privacy is limited Pictures are accurate but hard to envision the quirky layout but would stay again
The house was perfect for us, is state of the art accommodations and everything brand new. Located in a quiet area which has a lot of rabbits grazing around. Within a short walking distance to McEuen Park and only a few minutes' drive to Silverwood. The host was so gracious and bent over backwards to help us out. A 5 star for sure!!
