Our well maintained property is located in lofty height above the village of Mirtos. The view of mountains and olive groves in the hinterland and the Libyan sea at your feet is breathtaking and unique. All six units are rich and comfortable, bright, clean and comfortably equipped (kitchen with oven, toaster, coffee maker, bathroom with hair dryer, etc.). Pollution-tested textiles, outdoor showers, a large, flowered garden with various verandas with marble quarry, a boulevard, a small children's playground and a beautiful, large barbecue area with natural stone barbecue and pizza oven and enough deck chairs ensure optimal relaxation.
A washing machine is available on request. Village and beach are within walking distance (5 to 10 minutes, donkey path or streets) or of course by car (300 m).

Particularities:
All apartments are equipped with health mattresses, ergonomic pillows and certified linen, the kitchens have an electric oven, 3-plate stove, fridge, kettle, toaster, plenty of crockery and many kitchen utensils.

In the transition period or in the winter months, the rooms can be heated, cooled in the summer (billing for individual consumption).
Outside there are outdoor showers, a small playground (sandboxes, a combi-swinging rack, a slide) as well as a large, beautiful BBQ area with pizza oven and grill and two large tables / benches for everyone to eat and enjoy. There is also a boule track with balls, where you can play and relax in the evening sun and with a view of the sea.

We are happy to provide for our youngest guests highchair, cot, children's crockery and other free and free of charge.

Extra beds are available on request.

The vegetable garden is (unless destroyed by a desert storm or destroyed by a flock of sheep) richly planted with tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplant, zucchini, pepperoni u. v. m. and also houses almost all Cretan herbs. - Whatever is ready to pick up is available to our guests in self-service.

We are open all year round and offer interesting rental conditions in the winter months.

Between Heraklion airport and Mirtos, depending on the route, there are between 75 km (over the mountains and Ano Vianos) and about 100 km (along the coast to Agios Nikolaos / Ierapatera / Mirtos). Detailed directions for the latter route can be found below.

There are several ways to get to Mirtos:

Cheap but cumbersome: You can take the public bus via Ag. Nikolas to Ierapetra drive (duration: about 2.5 hours) and get there on the bus to Mirtos. Duration in total (depending on bus timetables): approx. 3 - 4 hours) Cost: approx. EUR 20.- / p. P.

Comfortable but expensive: By taxi you drive in about 1.5 hours from (airport) door to (apartment) door. Cost: approx. EUR 120.- / way, so about EUR 240.- round trip.

Independent, individual, relatively cheap: your own (rental) car; Acceptance and delivery of Heraklion airport. Costs: from approx. EUR 160.- / week, all insurance, full insurance and unlimited mileage included.

Directions Heraklion-Mirtos Airport:
When traveling by car or rental car, follow the road sign AGIOS NIKOLAOS from the airport. On the outskirts of Ag. Nikoalos (crossing), you follow the right hand the sign IERAPETRA, which brings you after 35 km to the edge of the southernmost city of Europe. Pay attention here to the (somewhat inconspicuous) sign MIRTOS, which, turn right again, bypasses the bustling city and straight, along the coastal road, towards Mirtos brings. You pass through some small villages and come to NEA Mirtos.
Attention: The journey is not over yet! Continue to the sign MIRTOS, cross the bridge of the (dry) riverbed and turn left immediately after the bridge into the village.
After turning to the village of Mirtos, drive through the small town and take the second road on the right (at the supermarket) - almost out of the village to the church; From here we turn left signposted uphill.
