Spacious country house near the Baltic Sea with large garden, oven and sauna

Charming, rural, quiet: The Caecilienhof impresses with its historic charm and proximity to both the Baltic Sea (3 minutes by bike) and the nature reserve Geltinger Birk. Harmoniously it fits into the overall system of the Ostseehof Langfeld - one of the few preserved half-timbered farms between Schlei and the Baltic Sea. Langfeld offers pure Bullerbü romance and is an absolute paradise for children near the beach. The Caecilienhof is the youngest residential building in the yard. It was built in 1905 and completely renovated in 2017/18 with the associated stables. The result is a spacious holiday home with five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a magnificent view over the fields of the Baltic Sea and the lighthouse of Falshöft.
As in all houses of the Ostseehof Langfeld, tradition also meets modernity in the Caecilienhof: concrete floors on old kitchen tables from the 19th century. Century, real wood floors on modern lamps, oak staircases on stainless steel fronts in the kitchen and old, pickled doors on modern tiles. The entire house is furnished with a mix of antiques and new furniture, giving it its incomparable charm.
10 adults and 2 children are accommodated here comfortably. Sheets and towels are included in the price. If necessary, in the same house a separate apartment with a bedroom, bathroom and living room for two more people to be rented. For modern standards provide television, stereo and Wi-Fi, as well as located in the opposite cowshed sauna with relaxation room.

Who wants to accommodate larger groups, has the opportunity to rent three more houses: The Backhaus, the Westerscheune and the main house. A large function room for workshops, seminars and celebrations is also available and can be booked on request. The Gelting Bay is located near the Danish border in the middle of the fishing region, which counts with its hilly landscape, its yellow rapeseed fields and long beaches to the most beautiful holiday regions of Germany. Nestled between the Baltic Sea and Schlei fishing is far away from the tourist Baltic Sea strongholds.
Instead of apartment buildings, this is lined with thatched roof cottages, family houses, smaller and larger mansions. The beaches are but not overpopulated. The diversity of the landscape is what makes the area so special. There is a wide range of riding, sailing and surfing courses in the area. The nature conservation beloved Geltinger Birk invites to extended hikes and bicycle tours. The Viking village Haitabu, the castle Glücksburg and many other attractions are worth a trip even in bad weather.
Beach vacationers come here as well as athletes, culture lovers, nature lovers, cyclists and hikers.

The entire extended family can gather at the large dining table in the spacious kitchen and dining area. The directly adjoining spacious living room with a charming stove provides a cozy retreat for those who want to read and talk in peace. The ground floor also has a large bathroom with bathtub. The kitchen is very well equipped with its oven, ceramic hob, large fridge and dishwasher. Kettle, toaster and coffee maker are of course also available.

Description of the bedrooms:
A beautiful oak staircase leads to the attic and the five bedrooms. They are large and spacious, each with two single or one double bed. In the large children's room is in addition to the two single beds a bunk bed measuring 1.80 m x 60 cm, where children can sleep comfortably up to about 10 years. Here, too, tradition meets modernity: Old chests of drawers are side by side with modern box spring beds and refurbished lamps next to modern tiles.

Description of the bathroom:
Three spacious shower rooms are available to our guests upstairs. The fourth and largest bathroom of the Caecilienhof is located on the ground floor. It has a large bathtub and acts as a guest toilet at the same time.

Description of the outdoor area:
The Caecilienhof has a large garden with a great view over the fields to the lighthouse of Falshöft. Two terraces invite you to linger. In the shed there is a table tennis table. If you want to bring your own horse, you have the option of placing it in the farmhouse's own stable and on the farm's own meadows. A good bridle path network around the Geltinger Birk invites to unique rides. Behind the stable, the horses can be moved on a riding meadow, which is also usable for football or volleyball players.
