Enchanting Quinta with 180° sea view. Vacation in paradise Suitable for families

Exclusive location: 200m from the sea, in the middle of the biosphere reserve, on the south coast of Graciosa, with a wide view of 4 islands and the majestic Pico.

Quinta Graciosa comprises an old farmhouse—renovated for comfort while retaining its original volcanic stone construction—and a traditional-style annex featuring expansive panoramic sliding windows with roller shutters. These two living areas, each with its own bedroom and living-dining room, are ideal for families. A cot and high chair are available upon request.
The entire house (approx. 120 m²) is at your disposal; however, depending on occupancy (up to 5 people), certain areas may remain closed off. The property also boasts several terraces, a conservatory, a garden pond, lawns, and secluded, enchanting spots for relaxation.

The large, lovingly landscaped garden and beautiful lawn invite you to play and unwind. Please note: There are large yucca plants with sharp spines in the garden! Everyone is sure to find a favorite spot—whether on the terraces or in one of the hidden nooks and alcoves. Enjoy the ever-changing garden landscape—with its trees, shrubs, flowers, and fruit—as it shifts with the interplay of light and clouds, blending harmoniously into the surrounding natural scenery.

Amazing place

Really amazing place and incredible view. Everything works great. Nearby is a spa (Termas do Carapacho) with free entry and a great swimming spot (Piscinas Naturais do Carapacho). Also the crater of the volcano (Centro de Visitantes da Furna do Enxofre), where you drive through a tunnel. There are many other attractions on the Island. A microwave for the kitchen and a soaking mat for the bathtub would be a good addition

The location of the house is very impressive - it has a beautiful view. The kitchen is well equipped. The bed is comfortable. It has a very nice garden, but it was too hot. In the afternoon in the garden and the house there was no shade or cool place to be. In the description of the house I did not know that there were 2 units of which 1 is available

Hi Chris, we are very sorry that it was very hot during your stay. Of course, it's important to close the shutters at least halfway during the day to keep the heat out. There are also 2 large umbrellas and some shaded areas under the trees, for example in the back of the property. This area is very large and has many trees. In addition, you can also sit under the pergola. Possibly they forgot to put the white sails there to create shade. Sorry sorry... I had always offered to help if there were any problems and to sort this out. Unfortunately we can not change anything after the fact. There are two units of the house, yes. When there are more than 2 guests, we open the second part for a total of up to 5 people. But there were only two of you...

Quiet Graciosa

Graciosa is a quiet island perfect for relaxing. Location is very private with a good view of the sea. Road to the property is an adventure and I hope will be improved in the future. House was very clean and well built. Grounds were not well maintained (off-season?) Access to several parts of the house were locked off including the indoor winter garden - ok we did not need or would have used these areas. Host responded immediately when we had a small issue. Overall great stay would have been better with a few small improvements - please add a microwave oven.

Geweldig

Het huis is heel fijn. Goed ingericht: in de keuken is alles aanwezig, goede informatie via een informatiemap, keurig ingerichte kamer, goede bedden. Badkamer met bad en douche.De omgeving is geweldig, een prachtige tuin die goed onderhouden is en een geweldig uitzicht. De locatie is goed, dicht bij een supermarkt en vanuit hier is alles goed te bereiken.De open haard hebben we heerlijk gebruikt, er is voldoende hout aanwezig.De eigenaar had vooraf al heel veel informatie gestuurd. Dit was erg prettig om alvast wat voorbereidingen voor de vakantie te maken.Zeker een huis waar we terug naar willen komen.

2 Wochen im Paradies.

Es ist schon viel über die Quinta Graciosa geschrieben worden. Wir können bestätigen: Perfekte Lage und ein Wahnsinns- Blick auf 3, manchmal 4 weitere Azoreninseln. Auch das Wetter passte. Nachts manchmal Regen, tagsüber meist wunderbarer Sommer. Man sollte aber wissen: Die Luftfeuchtigkeit kann im Sommer schon recht unangenehm werden. Dazu 2 pünktliche Katzen zum Frühstück und Abendessen. Wir haben uns wunderbar erholt, noch nie im Urlaub habe ich so wenig gemacht..... Holger aus Berlin

A propriedade é muito bonita. O jardim e as vistas são deslumbrantes. A casa em si é confortável, no entanto tem um odor forte a casa fechada, o que para alérgicos é contraproducente. Mas de uma forma geral gostamos muito.

Amazing stay on Beautiful property

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Quinta Graciosa. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. The yard and garden was one of the highlights. Beautiful and wonderful to wake up to each morning. We ate at many of the places recommended and they were delightful. Hosts provided very accurate information and communication. On-site manager, Rui was always available to us if needed and stopped by to check in on us. Drove the whole island, explored caves, hikes trails, enjoyed the cows, goats, birds. We will definitely stay here again.

Traumhafte Lage mit traumhaftem Blick

Mit ihrer Quinta haben Heike und Michael eine wunderbare Urlaubsoase auf der Insel Graciosa geschaffen. Der Garten ist perfekt gepflegt und lädt zum Entspannen ein. Tags und nachts ist es absolut ruhig. Man könnte hier auch prima urlauben ohne die Insel "erkunden zu müssen". Wir waren 7 Nächte hier und hätten uns auch noch länger sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung der Quinta war hervorragend: umfangreiche Küchenausstattung, ausreichend Geschirr und Besteck, sogar genügend Eierbecher, Geschirrspültabs, Toilettenpapier, Handwaschseife und eine Waschmaschine. Sowohl die Kommunikation/Information vor der Anreise als auch die umfangreiche Infomappe vor Ort waren mehr als vorbildlich. Einen Mietwagen würden wir hier dringend empfehlen, der gut sortierte Supermarkt in Luz ist aber auch "zur Not" zu Fuß erreichbar. Wenn man die Laternen unterhalb des Hauses ausschalten könnte, würde man die gesamte Nacht den Nachthimmel im Liegestuhl genießen. ;-)

Понравилось это место - тихое, уютное и спокойное с прекрасным видом на океан и хорошим садом. В доме есть все необходимое. Хорошие продукты местного производства - сыры, вина, фрукты, мясо и рыба. Сельское хозяйство, животноводство, молочная промышленность и рыболовство - основные и наверное единственные производства на острове. Из-за этого остров сохранил относительно сельский и спокойный характер. Концентрация коров на квадратный километр площади, наверное, одна из самых высоких на нашей планете. :) Очень живописные пешие маршруты по всему острову, интересный и приятный ландшафт. Множества всевозможных птиц. Рекумендую посетить это место любителям дикой природы, спокойного время провождения и возможно - любителям рыбалки (которую в этот раз так и не удолось совершить). Спасибо Хайке, Майклу и хранителю дома Руи за гостеприимство.

One of the best kept secrets on the Azores!

Our stay at Heike and Michaels wonderful house has been the highlight of our holiday trip. The fantastic experience started already before our booking - I mentioned to Heike that I only could find expensive flights - and she right away helped me to identify much cheaper alternatives. I was very touched by this extraordinary service. Arriving at the house was like coming home - a welcome package was waiting for us and the place itself is just magic. Heike and Michael have modernized the house without removing its original charme. The location is quiet, with fantastic sea views and both, house and garden just offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Heike was very responsive and gave us many good insider tips about the island. It was our first stay on Graciosa, but we know the surrounding islands quite well from earlier trips. Graciosa is a well kept secret, less touristic than many of the other islands, but a true gem. We were positively surprised by its different vegetations and charming attractions, at the same time beeing very authentic. We really fell in love with the island and Heike's enchanting house and hopefully will come back to discover this island more in depth.

Wunderbarer Urlaub - sehr zu empfehlen

Wir sind zum zweiten Mal zu Gast in der Quinta Graciosa und das nicht ohne Grund: Die Wohnung ist super ausgestattet. Die Küche ist mit allem erdenklichen ausgestattet. Ein echter Treffer für jeden Hobbykoch und Gourmet. In dem geräumigen Wohnzimmer kann man neben einem wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer und den liebevoll gestalteten Garten auch das Kaminfeuer genießen. Es gibt ein gemütliches Schlafzimmer mit direktem Blick auf den Atlantik. Die Betten sind super bequem. Morgens aufstehen fällt aber trotzdem nicht schwer, denn die Insel Graciosa bietet so einiges an abwechslungsreichen Unternehmungsmöglichkeiten. Dabei ist man auch nicht auf gutes Wetter angewiesen, denn es gibt beispielsweise ein tolles Thermalbad ganz in der Nähe direkt am Meer. Hier gibt es optional auch ein Meeresschwimmbecken. Auch gibt es zahlreiche Wanderungen mit super Ausblicken über die Insel. Das Wetter war auch im März sehr angenehm. Kurz es ist der Ideale Ort sowohl für Genießer als auch aktive Menschen. Man findet ruhe und ist dennoch so zentral, dass man auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß erreichen kann. Auch kommt man bequem ohne Portugiesisch aus, da die Menschen meist sehr gut Englisch sprechen und sehr hilfsbereit sind.
