Hosted our annual golf outing with 16 guys. Accommodations were great! Host answered all our questions timely and was great to work with. Would definitely come again if golfing in the area.

An amazing time was had on our annual "Girl Trip (girls 55-70). The house and guest house accommodated all of us comfortably with plenty of space mingle and play card games,while the two patios turned out to be perfect place for morning meditations. A small mishap in the beginning was resolved without incident and turned a rainy weekend into one of the best trips we've ever taken.

Great place!

We highly recommend this place. We celebrated our son’s first birthday here with family and friends and everyone enjoyed the place especially the pool. The host is very easy to reach and gave quick responses. Everything went smoothly, from checking in to checking out. Overall we had an amazing staycation!

Beautiful property!

We all enjoyed our stay here. The kids had so much fun fishing, swimming and kayaking! The location was a bit far from the beach, but we made the most of that because of all the amenities the property itself had to offer.

Amazing view and stay! 10/10

the property was absolutely gorgeous! we definitely want to come back. Everything was spic and span, super clean. The kitchen is amazing. The nature surrounding the location is so peaceful.

Beautiful Property

Such a great house. Plenty of room and very comfortable beds. The foosball table doesn’t really work, it’s too wobbly, but other than that the place is great.

Beautiful place

I liked the place because the younger kids really enjoyed the pool. The older kids loved going to the pond fishing and using the kayaks provided. There was a lot of room for everyone to do something as a group or to have some alone time if that’s what they wanted. Would definitely recommend this place,

Friendscation getaway

Overall our stay was amazing. Communication was easy with host/maintenance. I do have some suggestions for improvements if someone wants to email me. Would definitely stay here again at the price we paid this year.

Family Reunion

We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful property! Peace and quiet, swimming, fishing, kayaking, and so much more. House was clean and well stocked. The host, Mitch, was great! We appreciated his quick and helpful responses to all our questions before and during our stay. Definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful and cozy home! It was very clean, all the essentials provided, easy check in and so cozy and welcoming. Exactly as the photos had shown! We stayed there for a family wedding and they were very accommodating to our family. ❤️

Great choice for large families.

Beautiful well maintained property - there was something for everyone in our party. The pool area is beautiful and the pond is full of fish. The huge kitchen and pantry was great for our large family. The stairs to the bedroom in the guest house are a little scary so only young adults were willing to climb up there. Overall - a great place for a private, peaceful vacation.

Everything you need

Wonderful stay at a wonderful place. We used this house for a family ski trip and had several kids ranging in age from 2-7. The house had everything we needed for the kids; kids plates, bowls, utensils, toys, books, and plenty of activities! The house also has everything we needed to cook meals. It made the stay very easy and relaxing.

Family vacation to celebrate 50th wedding anniversary

Had a great time! Enjoyed our stay. Fishing & kayaking provided hours of fun especially for the kids. Everyone enjoyed the pool. Good 4th of July fireworks in nearby Allegan. Minor appliance issues with the oven in the main house (getting oven to preheat in bake mode was a little problematic). Gals would have liked to have a mirror in the bedrooms near an electrical outlet to make hairdryer & curling iron use a bit more convenient. Overall great week!

Family Vacation

We actually stumbled upon this property because our previous VRBO host ghosted us and we had to find a last minute place to stay. Boy did we luck out!!! Not only is this place beautiful, it is full of thoughtful touches. The beds were comfy and the pool was marvelous. Mitch was so responsive when I texted him. We had a marvelous time and would love to stay here again. Definitely one of the best rentals we’ve ever had!!! Thank you, Mitch, for saving our vacation!!!

Quiet Country Getaway

The property was well kept and full of activities. We enjoyed our time as a family around the pool, watching nature, kayaking, fishing, and in the home playing games. The home is within driving distance to many restaurants and shopping centers. The owners have thought of about everything and placed many fun surprises in the home that made our stay extra special. The pool was our happy place most of our time at the home. We enjoyed our quiet country getaway as a family.

Excellent family vacation

Our family of 12 had an excellent family vacation at this location. Everything was as advertised. Pool was great and kids caught fish, a few 10-12 bass and lots of blue gill. Kitchen was large and well equipped to handle food preparation for the family meals. Communication with Mitchell was excellent, very timely. Taylor was very helpful with keeping the pool clean and resolving a few questions. Excellent venue. Jim and Janice

Otsego Private Rendezvous

With a ten-year old and two twelve-year olds, the kayaks were in constant use, as were the fishing poles we brought and the soccer ball! In the modern, immense kitchen the frying pan was kept hot with cooking the fish as well. With ten people, everyone found their own private and playful space. Coming from FL, Manhattan, and San Francisco as a family, we entertained family members in the area with fabulous dining in a spacious area. Perfect for our Fall Fling!

Pastoral and quiet

We spent a lovely week decompressing, reacquainting and enjoying the gorgeous pool, kayaking on the pond, and watching the kids explore the property. The kitchen was perfectly suited to gathering at and between mealtimes. The pool deck was also a favorite family spot. Peaceful evenings sitting on the dock were so calming. The amenities were carefully thought out: cabinets and pantry were well stocked with all the necessities and many courtesy items. Beds were comfy and the house easily accommodated 13 people, including a few active children. It was a wonderful and restorative vacation.

Excellent house and property

We had a fantastic experience at this house and on this property. Plenty of room to throw the football and run around and have fun with kids. The house was very nicely updated and very clean. It was close enough to the ski hill to come home and eat lunch and then head back to the slopes. Looks like this place would be amazing in the summer, too, with the pool. We expected all the rooms to have a king bed and found one to have only a full bed - the owner said they will update the post for accuracy. We would definitely recommend this place to friends and would come back ourselves. Thanks for a great trip!

Otsego Château Sanctuary Rocks!!!!

Our family from Colorado, Illinois and Indiana gathered at this house for our family week together. There was so much to do we hardly left the property. The owner let us bring our 4 kayaks and along with his 2 we almost always had all 6 of them on the pond during the day. The pool was awesome as well. The living space inside was open and let us all be together in the same room whether watching TV, playing board games or cooking/eating. We had one small issue with the Direct TV and the owner/manager was on top of the issue and had it resolved super quick. We would suggest this property to everyone and will definitely be back!!!

Country House

The house was just what we were looking for to get away for a relaxing week. The house was well equipped with anything that we needed. My kids were in the heated pool for the majority of the stay. We spent most nights grilling out and enjoying fishing with the kayaks on the ponds. The house was out in the country but still close enough to town. The town had plenty of options for grocery stores and eating out. We took the kids to a really cheap and nice movie theatre. Mitch was there for any questions we had or for anything that came up. He was more than happy to make our stay as best as possible.
