About this property

You won't have to leave because it's all at Parrot House. Five bedrooms give multiple families the options they need for a beach vacation. One king bedroom on the main level plus four bedrooms on the top floor. Enjoy your morning coffee or evening libation from any of the three decks. The beverage bar on the third floor make refills convenient.
The house is brand new featuring craftsmanship from Cason Graye, one of Pointe West's leading builders. The design reflects a history of beach vacations to answer every need.
The dining room table seats 8 and there are 5 stools at the large kitchen island. The living room has plenty of seating.
Three large decks offer room to view the beach or bay. Mosquitos happen and Parrot House features one of the few screened in porches in all of Pointe West.
Of course the amenities of the Point West resort are available. They include the Beach Club with the infinity pool and spa, an exercise center, The Pointe Restaurant & Bar, Gift Shop and more. The Sunset pool is heated and has a lazy river.

Extended Family Trip

My extended family had a wonderful time at the Parrot House! When walking in to this beautiful home, we were greeted with a welcome bag full of goodies (including items for the kids). The house had plenty of beach and bath towels. That has been an issue at other homes but not this one! The large patios and outdoor seating were great for relaxing at the beginning and end of the day. It was a very clean home which we all appreciated! If you have kids of various ages, you will love t go a house. The bunk bed room was a lot of fun for the kids. It also had two extra mattresses for the kids. We didn’t need to use it but the owner offered a pack n play and high chair. The home also had baby gates which is so nice if you have little ones. It was a five minute walk to the beach which was nice. The owners allowed us to use their wagon and umbrella which was great! We chose to drive to the two pools that were on the property. The owners, Joe and Susan, were excellent at communicating before and during our trip. Very nice people with a beautiful home!

Memories were made

Great place for a family beach experience. The screen porch was great for the mosquito sensitive folks. Kids had a blast and there was plenty of space to spread Out.

The Perfect Weekend Away

We absolutely loved staying at the Parrot House. Great view of the beach, where you can hear the waves while enjoying your morning coffee or favorite adult beverage. It's location is the best spot to be on the beach with no crowds. The house is very clean, decorated with fun beach decor, and has comfortable beds. It was perfect for a fun weekend getaway for our family and friends, and we will be back soon!

Susan and I have been taking our family to the beach since the late 80's. We have stayed with friends and rented houses and condos up and down the gulf coast. Parrot House is the cumulation of these visits in a brand new custom home designed for families to enjoy. You will find something that you weren't counting on, in Louisiana it's called Lagniappe, like full length mirrors and hair dryers in every bedroom. Parrot House is one of the few houses that enjoys both beach and bay views. Watch (and hear) the waves come ashore on our broad beach. Check out bay action from the back deck including birding at the small lake behind the house.

Three bedrooms have direct bathroom access for the suite life. All bedrooms have a smart tv and high-speed Wi-Fi. There is a portable office desk with ring light for those zoom meetings that will not wait until you return.
